All of my Born Free pics are of my child 😎 We wrapped this bike up on Father’s Day at about 9pm to head to CA for the Born Free event just in time. We always thrive under pressure here, and it may get chaotic and stressful at times, but shit always gets done. A little perspective from a family who doesn’t live and breathe baseball ⚾️ We can’t run our business and work from home. I miss a ton of work to get to these practices and games on time. This is only Layne’s 2nd season playing baseball. Some of these kids have been playing since Kindergarten and several have older siblings they’ve played with and watched for years. You hear comments in the stands from the families who live at the baseball field. It’s not our life, we don’t take extra lessons, he’s not on any other teams besides “Rec.” This doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to win any less than anyone else. It also means he still has a ton of improvement and learning to go and we are fully aware of that. He enjoys the game, practices hard, loves playing with his teammates and has fun. It’s intimidating for sure going up against these kids. These kids do not need to be constantly evaluated, they too are aware of their skills and mistakes. Layne hit a double last night bringing runs in before the inning was called for the 5 run rule. He also struck out along with others on his team. The Brewers won their first tournament bracket game 20-16 👏🏻 #proudmom #youthsports by @lauraraylight
