God’s love is not reactive to our performance. It flows from who He is.
And so the invitation of Jesus is not to pretend we are fine. It is not to clean ourselves up first or to keep certain parts of life hidden until we feel “ready.”
The invitation is to come honestly, and bring what is real - our fears, our regrets, our confusion, our weakness - and discover that God does not turn away from honesty. He meets us in it with grace.
Father,
Thank you that nothing in my life is hidden from you. You know my failures, fears, and weaknesses and yet you continue to love me with grace and compassion. Help me stop hiding and learn to trust your heart, knowing that your love is greater than my shame.

We hear accusations from our past and mistake them for God’s voice.

Instead of walking in freedom, we can live as though we’re permanently disqualified.

But Scripture tells us a different story -
In Micah 7:8, the prophet declares:“Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise.”

Notice that Micah doesn’t deny the fall or pretend it never happened. He doesn’t excuse it or minimise it. Instead, he acknowledges the reality of failure while declaring a greater reality: God’s redemption. by @lauraringeltv

Father,
Thank you for this new month, thank you that my failures do not have the final word.

Remind me that because of Jesus, I am forgiven, restored, and still called according to your purposes.

Teach me to walk forward in the freedom you have already given me.
Amen by @lauraringeltv
