Dear Mohon Music,

Thank you.

You have given me my past, my present, and my future. Endless amounts of opportunities, support, and guidance. Friendships that will last a lifetime. And a group of teacher who have guided me, helped me grow, and thrive as a musician. I literally owe it all to you. From general music at Bradt, and returning full circle with my internship, I have gained valuable experiences that I genuinely wouldn’t have gotten without our program. Mohon masque has been a part of my life since sixth grade, but seeing Mohon masque bring their Charlie Brown cast to bradt had sparked something inside of me. I could go on and on for hours about how incredibly lucky each and every student at Mohonasen is for being able to join and thrive in our music program.

To the people out there, from a musicians perspective, nothing will ever be perfect. But learning how to find a group of people who really support you and care about your successes will get you near close to that. Never stop trying to grow your talents, you are always learning, and even if you think no one is, someone is ALWAYS watching. Be kind to yourself and others. Please.

Now it is my turn to go to college and become one of the people I aspire to be, my music teachers. For everything, thank you. I could not have done this without you.

All of my love and support, and always Mohon Proud,
Laurel Karp

Katherine P….. Plumber,

Oh how I’ve grown to love you. Whether it’s making a name for herself, or helping a rag tag gang of rag-a-muffins take on the kingmakers of New York, she keeps her head held high and stands up for what it right. Through the power of friendship and love, she finds a really wonderful group of people who help her to be the best she can be.

This show was not the one I would have chosen for my senior show, but it was the damn right show to have done. Thank you to all my friends, family, and the directors for giving me something to believe in and reminding me that hard work pays off. Always fight for what is right and just watch what happens when you do.

Katherine, those boys are really proud of you, and a lot of them look up to you. Keep in shining. Never forget where you came from but always wonder how far you can go. New York (Mohon)’s got us, and we’s family.

Thank you and I love you all more than you can imagine,
