Cat of the week, Raven!

Meet Raven, an 8-year-old beauty with gorgeous golden eyes and a heart to match. She's a one-person kind of cat, the loyal companion who wants to be wherever her human is.

Raven can be shy at first, and it's fair to say life hasn't always been easy for her. She's been through a lot, and she takes a moment to size you up. But give her a little time and she warms up quickly, and then you'll see what she's really like: sweet, affectionate, and devoted.

Raven first came to Laurel Cats five years ago and was adopted by a wonderful woman who loved her dearly. When her adopter's circumstances changed and she could no longer have pets, Raven came back to us. She didn't do anything wrong. She is simply a cat who deserves a forever home that can be as steady as she is.

Raven loves being close to her person, always. She likes to eat at the same time you do (she enjoys company at mealtime!), and she loves playtime, belly rubs, and curling up to sleep right beside you. She's also a champion purrer.

Raven will thrive as the only pet in a calm home with no children. She has tended to bond fastest with women, so she'd be a purrfect match for someone looking for a devoted lap-and-bed companion. Come meet her. She'll make you smile every time.

Please reach out to us on any of our social media platforms for more information, and use the link below to apply for adoption:

When a neighboring shelter called us last week facing severe overcrowding, Laurel Cats answered the call! We welcomed a sweet cat family into our care: momma "Cinna" (aka Cinna-mom) and her three tiny kittens—Blair, Banks, and Bean. 🐱❤️

Currently, they are settled safely with one of our experienced kitten specialists, ensuring mom and babies are stable, nourished, and loved.
Preparing a young family for adoption takes a village—and a complete course of medical care! Over the coming weeks, Laurel Cats will be providing:

✨ Specialized kitten nutrition as they transition off nursing
✨ Comprehensive vet visits & FVRCP vaccinations
✨ Essential preventive meds & dewormers (Pyrantel, Ponazuril, Panacur)
✨ Microchip tagging for safety
✨ Spay/neuter surgeries for mom and all three kittens

Every step of their journey—from medical supplies to surgery—is fully funded by Laurel Cats, and we need your help to get them across the finish line to their forever homes!

Please consider donating today to support Cinna and her babies on their path to adoption. by @laurelcats
