Some moments lately with the @senderoneclimbingteam 💙

Grateful for another season of learning to trust the process and be patient with our goals. The past few months of competitions from our youth qualifying event to the elite national team selections have been filled with countless little wins and breakthroughs that remind me constantly what all the hard work and perseverance through setbacks is for. I’m so proud of this team and excited to see what the future holds!

Grateful for an amazing week in China, getting to see these kids’ hard work pay off at Youth Worlds has been an absolute dream come true. I’m so proud of how far they have come and more motivated than ever for the future.

Seeing the level of international competition in person and learning about different countries’ training styles was an eye opening experience, it’s crazy to see how much this sport has grown in the past few years. I’m always searching for new things to learn to be a better coach and this being at this comp gave me some good direction in where to look.

Thank you to the amazing families of the @senderoneclimbingteam for supporting me and trusting in the process, and @senderone for providing a space that supports our athletes in striving to achieve their goals. taken in Guiyang, Guizhou, China by @laurelclimbs

Nationals!! After a long, hot week in Salt Lake City we are coming home with a 3rd place team award for the second year in a row, 2 national champions, 4 youth national team members (3 heading to worlds), and 2 youth national development team members. It’s hard to describe what these kids have put into their training to get to this point, but to say I am proud of them is an understatement.

@mercene_ary I’m so proud of the program we have built and we’re only just getting started. @michael_hom_237 and @silas_t_chang thank you for supporting the team this week and helping me with coaching the speed program throughout the season, I couldn’t do this without you. @stelpena thank you for all the work you have put in to further developing speed programs at Sender One, and for all your support this week.

I’m grateful every day to be a part of this journey. This team has big things in store. 💙🤍

💡 Is this the best use for a speed climbing hold we’ve ever seen? Yes. Yes it is. @rockshars and @laurelclimbs of the @senderoneclimbingteam from @senderone came up with this amazing and hilarious idea! Go check them out!

Nationals day 1! Bouldering was a pretty brutal round for me, but I got to try some cool moves after a long and cold 8 hours in iso, and it was great to be back @thespotgym! by @laurelclimbs

Today marks 15 years of climbing for me! Posting a speed picture in honor of the fact that I am flying out to support the @senderoneclimbingteam athletes at WORLDS!! I’m so grateful for everything this sport has given me over the past 15 years, and loving every day that I get to help kids find equal joy in it through coaching. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate 15 years! 📸 @ascend_photos

Hard to believe it’s been 2 years and 3 months since my last competition, and somehow harder to believe that I’ll be back out on the mats again in just over two weeks. I’m beyond excited to be competing at the Vail North American Cup in my beautiful home state next month, and I’m looking forward to many more adventures this comp season!
