🌊 THE YOUGH IS ROARING! 🌊 Intense storms last night dumped over 4 inches of rain across Ohiopyle and the surrounding areas, sending the Youghiogheny River soaring to a whopping 13 feet on the Ohiopyle gauge! 😳🌊 With the river reaching flood-stage conditions, all commercial trips are grounded today, 08/11/2026. Ohiopyle State Park closes the river to commercial trips when the gauge reaches 10 feet, putting the safety of our guests and guides first. But we’re keeping a close eye on those water levels! πŸ‘€πŸŒŠ We hope to resume operations tomorrow, 08/12/2026, if water levels allow. These kinds of water levels are rare, and when conditions allow us to operate, they can create some seriously BIG waves and BIG thrills! 🌊πŸ”₯ If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure on the Yough, give us a call and get yourself on the books! πŸ“ž 724-329-8531 🌐 www.laurelhighlands.com Mother Nature brought the water. We’ll bring the adventure. πŸš£β€β™€οΈπŸ’¦ taken in Laurel Highlands River Tours & Outdoor Center by @laurelhighlands

Y’all, I have some exciting news! 🀍✨ You can now shop a curated collection of The Riverside Jeweler in two locations here in the Laurel Highlands: πŸ“ @tissuefarm β€” my go-to coffee shop right here in Confluence, PA. Come for the coffee, stay for the art… and maybe leave with a new favorite piece of jewelry πŸ˜‰ πŸ“ @laurelhighlands β€” right in the heart of Ohiopyle! Book your next whitewater adventure on the Youghiogheny River, then browse their thoughtfully selected collection of local artisan goods ✨ I’m incredibly grateful for these partnerships and for these amazing local businesses that are helping support handmade work and local artists. If you’re out exploring the Laurel Highlands this summer, stop in and say hello! 🀍 taken in Ohiopyle, Pennsylvania by @laurelhighlands
