Another little pumpkin is on the way. 🎃🤍 We’ve been keeping a little secret, and we’re so excited to finally share that our family is growing! 🥹

Jasper is being promoted to BIG BROTHER, Paddington is adding another tiny human to his pack 🐾, and Caleb and I are getting ready to do this beautiful, crazy adventure all over again.

Another little one to join our crew, another tiny person to make memories with, and another reason our hearts feel impossibly full. 🤎

Baby Brown coming Spring 2027. 🎃🍼🍂 by @laureliz8

🩵 Welcome to the world, baby boy 🩵
25 hours of inactive labor, 7 hours of active labor, 15 minutes of pushing. One perfect baby. November 8th, 2024.

The best part of me, Jasper Hamilton Brown. I couldn’t have imagined a love like this. Thank you for letting us be your parents! by @laureliz8

Wedding day was everything I had hoped it would be! Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate us! 🩵 by @laureliz8

Three generations at early voting today 💙 Mum cast her very first ballot after becoming a citizen last year, and Jasper came along as our little future voter, already part of a family voting blue.

The news and the state of this country feel endlessly depressing. As a woman, as the daughter of an immigrant, and as a mum raising the next generation, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by what’s at stake.

I want my children to grow up in a country where women have control over their bodies, racial minorities are treated equally, immigrants are valued, and our leaders are held accountable. Where a felony conviction isn’t something we’re expected to overlook when choosing who leads us.

Today, Mum got to have her say for the first time. And I got to stand beside her, voting for the future I want for my boys. 💙🗳️ by @laureliz8

Tonight’s family dinner was a celebration of Mum finishing her very last radiation treatment. ❤️

Since we discovered her brain tumour in February, it’s been a whirlwind. Two brain surgeries, a seizure disorder, emergency hospitalizations, procedures, and now 30 radiation treatments over six weeks, Monday through Friday.

Everyone in our family has taken on a role. From babysitting Jasper so I could be by Mum’s side and advocate for her, to taking turns in hospital rooms, driving to appointments, and being on seizure watch. So much love has gone into getting her to this point.

There are still appointments ahead. Neurology to follow up on her EEG and seizure activity, her neurosurgeon to check the stubborn fluid at her incision site, and another MRI in three months to monitor for tumour regrowth.

The difficult reality is that Mum has a rare, grade 2 clear-cell meningioma. After two surgeries and radiation, our hope is to give her as much time as possible before any regrowth. Finishing treatment doesn’t take away that uncertainty, but it gives us something worth celebrating today.

And tonight, we got to sit around a dinner table together instead of a hospital bed.

We love you, Mum. What a year it’s been. ❤️ by @laureliz8

This little guy got to be Cookie Monster again for Boo Bash at Little Leaps! Any excuse to bring out the blue fluff and cookie obsession 🍪💙🎃 by @laureliz8

A little date with Mummy, Daddy and Elmo ❤️ Jasper had the time of his life! Entertained from start to finish, then ran straight to Elmo and Abby for a picture like they were his best friends 🥹 Watching him soak it all in was the best part. by @laureliz8

Just 4 treatments left of Mum’s radiation! ☢️🤍

After treatment, she’ll follow up with her neurosurgeon about some stubborn fluid at her incision site that hasn’t resolved. Then it’s scans every 3 months to watch for any regrowth of the tumor.

There’s still more ahead, but for now, we live. We make memories, celebrate the little things, and enjoy the time together she’s fought so hard to have.

This brain tumor warrior has life to live! 💪🥹🤍 by @laureliz8

It’s a BOY! 🩵 And getting to finally share his name makes this even more special. Harvey Ellis Brown. 🧸

Harvey is my Grandad’s middle name, and there is something incredibly special about giving our son the name of a man who has meant so much to me throughout my life. Gotta love FaceTime for letting us live stream him into the reveal!

My Grandad is someone I’ve always admired. We share a love of books, and he’s always been one of my biggest cheerleaders, encouraging whatever crazy idea I’ve managed to come up with next. 😂 From the little conversations to life’s biggest milestones, he’s been such a wonderful part of my story.

He’s taught me so much about curiosity, kindness, the importance of family, and finding joy in the little things. Those are qualities I hope to pass along to my own children.

And now our little boy gets to carry on a family tradition. Harvey is a name that has been passed down through the men on my mum’s side of the family for generations, now for a 5th time. Knowing our son will be another part of that history makes his name even more meaningful. 🥹

I hope Harvey grows up knowing the story behind his name and just how special his GG is to our family. More than anything, I hope he shares that same love of family, curiosity about the world, and enthusiasm for whatever life brings his way.
