📚I help women go from blank page to first draft—clearly, confidently, and in just 90 days. ✍️No more feeling stuck, stalled or scattered.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

There are a lot of new faces around here—welcome!
If we haven’t met yet, I’m Laurel, and I help nonfiction and memoir writers shape their real-life experiences into compelling first drafts that actually get FINISHED.
But here’s the thing that sets me apart from other book coaches: I come from a background in fiction and filmmaking.
🎥🎬
That means I don’t just coach you to write what happened. I teach you to build scenes, shape emotional arcs, and create momentum—the kind that keeps readers hooked until the very last page.
📚
Because real stories deserve to be told like the best ones we’ve ever watched on the big screen.
📚
Swipe through this post to see how my storytelling skills from novels and movie sets will help your nonfiction stand out on the shelf—and in readers’ hearts.
📚

The greatest privilege of this work isn’t editing words. It’s earning someone’s trust.
✍️
Book coaching is about so much more than editing. It’s about partnership, encouragement, accountability, and believing in someone’s story until they believe in it too.
✍️
Thank you, Becca, for letting me be part of your journey. Your courage, honesty, and hope are what make this book so powerful. I can’t wait to see where it goes next.
✍️
If you’ve been carrying a book inside you and don’t know how to get it onto the page—or across the finish line—I’d love to help you get there.

One bird hops in first, testing the water. The others watch… hesitate… then follow.
I’m in the writing water, friend and it’s refreshing 🌊
Come on in. It’s not as scary as it looks.

I was thinking about the Epstein files today and this is my two cents. Here are a few organizations but there are so many. @a21 @christinecaine @timtebowfoundation @aerialrecoverygroup @asafeplacetogo
