It’s always been Vermont, thank you to @vermontgreenfc for letting me get one last lap around Virtue with the best team I could ask for. A piece of me will always be in Burlington. Four years well spent in the most incredible soccer community around, one more game to go 💚⛰️ taken in Burlington, Vermont by @lauren.degroot

I did it Opa! Thank you @uvmwsoccer for being the only school to offer me a chance. It was an honor to be a part of this family for four memorable years. I loved every second of it, even the 300s. Peace out Catamount Country, 22 out 💚 by @lauren.degroot

The inaugural W League squad continues to bloom. 🌷

University of Vermont graduate Lauren DeGroot rejoins the Green after a standout senior season with the Catamounts. DeGroot notched 8 goals and 3 assists in the fall, earning a place on the America East All-Conference Second Team, All Championship Team, and the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Team.

Meg Roden joins the club to bolster the Green’s midfield ahead of the inaugural campaign. The Australia U20 youth international started in 16 games this fall at Providence College, recording 1,187 minutes. Roden brings extensive experience, playing previously at High Point and with Australian professional side Canberra United FC.

Sydney Segalla will join the well-established Boston College Eagle contingent in Burlington this summer. The multi-sport athlete will bring her distinct pace and an eye for goal to the attack. Segalla holds multiple school records in Track & Field at Boston College, setting the standard most recently in the 500m with a time of 1:11:31. by @lauren.degroot
