I don’t usually share things like this, but I felt called by the Lord to do so.

We often get caught up in the way we look, how we present ourselves to others, and the pressure to live “perfect” or “fake” lives. I’m guilty of these things too. However, learning to live the life God intended for me has not only made my life more enjoyable, but it has also blessed me with so many things that make life feel lighter and more meaningful.

Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” Why would we want to change something that our Heavenly Father created so intentionally and beautifully? Jesus loved us so much that He died on the cross for us so that we could have a relationship with Him.

There was a time when I spent too much energy comparing myself to others and wondering if I was enough. But the closer I grew to God, the more I realized that my worth was never meant to come from the opinions of people. It comes from Him alone. When we truly understand that, we can stop chasing validation and start walking confidently in the identity He has given us.

I strive to live like Christ and share His Word, but it isn’t always easy when we feel trapped by social media, gossip, comparison, and unhealthy relationships. One thing I constantly remind myself is: “I am who God says I am-created in His image, chosen, loved, forgiven, and a child of God.”

No matter where you are in your journey, God sees you, knows you, and loves you completely. You do not have to earn His love or prove your value. You are already precious in His sight. Give yourself grace, trust His timing, and remember that the person He created you to be is more than enough.
