My dogs are my personality, I don’t care 🤷🏻‍♀️🩷

At the beginning of June, I decided I was going to work harder with putting more intentional effort into training my dogs. Of course I would train them before, but it wasn’t consistent and it definitely wasn’t every day. Whether it was only 1 or all 3 of them, we trained all 30 days of June. I’m very proud of myself and my sweet pups. They’re always down to get up to something with me and I love them so much.
We worked on old and new skills and they all killed it! 🩷✨

One day I’ll learn how to throw a disc well (consistently) but at least they’re having fun 😅

Lately I have been getting out and adventuring more and it’s so peaceful.
Having Rooki has really forced me to go explore and appreciate the good in the world, even though there’s so much bad right now. I’m greatful for my wonderful friends, old and new, that have encouraged me and gone on the adventures with me. I’m also greatful for the bond that I’m getting to build with this sweet, silly puppy. 💙✨ by @laurena.knox

We adventured around the botanical garden in Clemson this afternoon, which was super fun and relaxing. I love my friends (and my sweet Rooki) 🩷

Bowser’s second @theupdogchallenge disc event was a success! We signed up for FEO games (no points) but if I had signed him up for actual games, we would have had our first points ever! I’m so proud of the progress he has made and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! ❤️

Disc Dog in the making 🥏❤️
-
I had my first @theupdogchallenge disc event last weekend!
While I didn’t get any points due to me not understanding the new environment and smells, I still made such improvement in other ways.

As a reactive dog, I was around new dogs and people all day with barely anything to say about it and that’s a HUGE win. When I got out on the field, I didn’t shut down. I was still very curious, just didn’t understand what to do in a big new environment, and that’s okay. (Shoutout to @yallredacres for training and support ❤️)

Momma says that we will continue to practice and try our best. It’s not about the points, it’s about the bond we build and the wins we achieve outside of the actual game. ❤️

Happy birthday to my best friend, the best fur dad and the best husband anybody could ask for. Words can’t begin to describe how grateful I am for you and everything you do. You’re the heart of our little family and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love you so much more than you’ll ever know. 🩵 by @laurena.knox
