The 200m highlines at rocklands has continued to inspire local slackliners to achieve their personal best walking distances.

These lines have been rigged in April during the Rocklands highline meeting and have seen frequent crossings during September Highline meetings.

Seen with a mighty walk in the wind is @laurencegarrett in his signature Cape Floral Kingdom Hoodie keeping him protected from the elements along with @viperoutdoor Ripstop Bush Hat.

My first steps on a slackline took place late in 2017
Having met Anton and Dillan at Kai's house, I quickly found slacklines popping up in my day to day. The first frame is my attempts to walk a line set up by the friendly barista's at Boston Coffee, the second and third are from Newlands

Last year I had the fortune of joining friends to rig highlines at Serra Da Leba for the Climb Angola Festival

A surreal space to experience 'being outside of my comfort zone'

Thanks Leighton for the photos
Thanks @viper_slacklines for your continued support and great gear

Looking forward to seeing where these two feet take me next

@laurencegarrett climbing 'Some Like It Jaffel' at Bester Crag, Rocklands

Here's your reminder to take sport climbing equipment with you when you next visit Rocklands. It is more than just a bouldering hotspot!

Rocklands Highline Festival continues to be a space of exploration and expression

Stoked to have unlocked 'chest roll to feet' during some fun freestyle sessions. Thanks to all the supportive community members who have helped motivate me along the way 💛 and to those who paved the way before
