POSTS STORIES REELS

hi friends, something we’ve kept close for a while is finally making its way into the world.

welcome to Objects of Interest.

for so long, we went back and forth about what OOI should look like. what world are we building? how do we bring people into it? is it the right time? the more time passed, the more it felt right to make way for it to be seen.

OOI began with a shared habit of collecting places we want to return to, things worth keeping, and experiences we think are worth passing along.

it’s an archive of things that hold our interest, gathered through travel and everyday life. the goal is to translate and share our experiences in all the ways we can — through guides, stories, objects, and experiences.

we’re excited to finally give these ideas a place to live and share a world we’ve been imagining for a long time.

our first release is coming this week. if you’d like to be in the know, click the link in bio to join our world. can’t wait to see you there xx by @laurendorman

happy to announce our first OOI release — our official guide to kazbegi + juta, georgia ⛰

over the years, we’ve gotten so many messages asking for guides and recommendations from our trips and somehow we’re always putting together little lists for friends who are headed somewhere we’ve been. it felt only right that our first OOI release started there.

we had so much fun putting this one together. revisiting our trip, gathering everything we did and loved, and spending probably too much time making sure every little detail looked just right.

the guide includes where we stayed, ate, and explored along with our personal notes, things we wish we knew before going, and places we didn’t get to this time but are already saving for the next.

we also put together a little story from our time in kazbegi + juta on the OOI website for anyone who wants to get a feel for the trip before diving into the full guide.

our guide to kazbegi + juta is officially live now at Objects of Interest — link in bio by @laurendorman

time moves slower over here 🇬🇷 by @laurendorman

so we got married in italy this past year :-)

everyone has been asking for photos but we really wanted to take our time sharing this day. we had our friends & family from all over the world come stay at our wedding villa in the countryside of italy. we drank good wine, ate authentic farm to table tuscan food, and danced all night. it was truly an unforgettable week.

thank you to our amazing planners & vendors who made it all possible. a whole year of planning things internationally was a whirlwind of an experience.

thank you to our family and friends for coming from all around this earth to celebrate us. words can’t explain how grateful we are to have fostered such a warm community.

here is a compilation of photos taken by our photographer + personal photos from friends <3

Korea, thanks for the memories. by @laurendorman

I’ve been quietly learning. My father worked at a lumberyard and now I’m using my design education to create real, tangible things through my lens. A full circle moment. Industrial design, fabrication, and woodworking has been taking up brain space recently, so I decided to lean into it. Excited for the opportunity & months ahead to learn through @lawoodshop’s scholarship program.

Spent a little over a month in Asia back in March. I’m just really bad at posting on IG lol
