Four years of infertility.
Four failed IUIs.
3 Rounds of IVF
One failed transfer.
Shots, meds, bloodwork, ultrasounds, appointments… repeat.
The kind of routine that slowly breaks you down while you’re still trying to hold everything together.

All while still showing up for life.
Still going to the events, the parties, the trips.
Still cheering on friends as they shared their pregnancy announcements & attending their baby showers.
Still smiling, even when it hurt.
Most people never knew what we were carrying because we pushed through and kept going.

For something that happens naturally and easily for many people, it felt unfair that it took so much time, so many doctors, and thousands of dollars just for us to have one chance.

The mental and emotional toll was something I could’ve never prepared for. The loneliness and the fear of “what if this never happens for us” became a quiet battle we faced every single day.

To my husband — thank you for being the calm through the chaos. Infertility has tested us in every way.
I may be the one taking the shots, going through the procedures, carrying the scars...
But you’ve carried me.
You’ve been steady when I couldn’t be.
You’ve held me through the losses, the tears, the nights I thought I couldn’t go on.
You’ve been my anchor through the storm.

And now that we FINALLY have this chance… I am overwhelmed with gratitude. Every moment feels sacred. Every milestone feels like a breath I’ve been holding for years. I don’t take any of it for granted — not for one second — because it took so much heart, strength, hope, and healing to get here.

I wouldn’t wish this journey on anyone… but for this little life, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

My heart is with everyone still waiting.
Still hurting.
Still injecting.
Still waiting on phone calls.
Still refreshing portals.
Still fighting for their someday.

I see you. I hear you. ❤️‍🩹
