Long post... I never put myself out there like this, I’m insecure as fuck, I’m not at my goal body but you know what? Who gives a fuck! This body got me through back surgery, it got me through physical therapy, it’s getting me through a shit ton of stuff that life is throwing at me. This body got me through 2020, and for that, I’m proud of my body. Is it at my goal? no, but I don’t care, I love my body and I love everything that it’s done for me. I’m embracing it instead of hiding it. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and I’m going to keep getting stronger and I’m going to continue loving the body I’m in.

I remember going to my first music festival with my brothers, brothers by blood and brothers by choice. We all felt the love, how free we could all be, how everyone loved one another. That’s how life should be. “If I lose myself tonight” played and we just held hands and we were one, no hate, just love, just everyone being equal. Everyone caring for one another. It’s a moment that has stuck with me. I’ve never looked at someone and thought they were less than me because of the colour of their skin so it baffles me when people do. It makes me infuriated to see people so ignorant. I know I will never understand what so many people in my life go through but I promise you I will always be by your side and I will always fight with you and for you.
