POSTS STORIES REELS

I know what it feels like to be disciplined everywhere except the one place you keep quietly avoiding.

Your career gets your standards.
Your kids get your energy.
Your responsibilities get handled.

And then your body, your workouts, your food, your sleep, and your confidence get whatever is left.

I don’t believe most moms need more motivation.

I think they need a way to stop disappearing inside a life they worked hard to build.

That’s why I built Strong Mom.

Not for women who want fitness to become their whole personality.

For career-driven moms and ex-athletes who want to feel strong, clear, capable, and proud of themselves again — without restarting every Monday.

This work is physical, yes.

But it is also mental.

And emotional.

Because the goal is not just to lose weight.

It is to become the woman who keeps promises to herself when life gets full.

Life hack: Want to become someone who works out even when you don’t want to? Hang out with people who do. Suddenly, burpees at 6 a.m. seem... normal. 🙃💪

That’s the invisible hand of community – lifting you up, building momentum, and making it way harder to skip leg day. It’s like peer pressure, but *productive*. 😂

So… who’s in your corner inspiring you to show up and crush it? Tag them below and remind them how much they matter! ❤️

If you’re a career-driven mom, ambitious mom, or ex-athlete who is done putting herself last, follow me @laurenregula. We’re building a movement of women who keep promises to themselves. by @laurenregula

“I’ll be happy when…” has a name.

It’s called contingency happiness.

It means your happiness is contingent on….. whatever you finish that sentence with.

I lived in this state for a very, very long time. And let me tell you, it’s not a great place to be.

Guess what got me out of this state of mind?

It wasn’t when the kids slept.
It wasn’t a certain paycheck.
It wasn’t when I had “more time.”

Instead it was when I changed my perspective.
My thoughts.
My mindset.

I changed “me” and how I showed up, so-to-speak.

Turns out I went from unhappy to happy within the same day-to-day life.

Same house.
Same car.
Same hubby.
Same family.
Same everything.

Different me...and therefore a different life completely.

Remember that when you feel guilty putting work into yourself…

Trust me you are WORTH IT. And your family will thank you.

Waiting for motivation is waiting for fleeting feelings to miraculously transform your habits and life…

And those who get results just aren’t willing to leave something as important as their body and their life to chance.

Try swapping this word for motivation… it’s definitely helpful and puts the power back in your control!

What are ways you get moving, even if you don’t want to?! 👇🏼

Our mind is our most powerful tool for change.

I think learning how to be in neutral is a superpower.

As human beings, we tend to let our emotions run the show. Check that, oftentimes we let our emotions AND negative self-talk run the show.

The key to changing?

It’s not just “be positive.” That doesn’t work.

Forced positivity will never stick because your brain won’t really believe it.

It’s actually having a true perspective on where you are - WITHOUT JUDGEMENT.

So try being neutral on for size… it just might be the mindset you need to get unstuck. 💎 by @laurenregula

FINALLY!

Feels like a lifetime… and I couldn’t be happier to be back in my happy place. 🤍💎

Hey. Maybe this is exactly what I needed… or that my perspective anyway. 🙌🏼 by @laurenregula

Waiting on Will to get back to the car and found this gem of an IG post and wanted to share.

I say “environment is the invisible hand that shapes you” every day… or close to it.

We just don’t realize how REAL and contagious energy is…

…and oftentimes for people chasing goals it’s the make or break unknown advantage (or disadvantage.)

How often do you audit your circle?!

Tag whoever is in your circle that you are thankful for.

And if you are in our Strong Mom Inner Circle drop me some diamonds. 💎💎💎 by @laurenregula

Anyone that knows me knows my motto with food is “boringly beautiful.”

I’m the person who likes to eat similar things every day…

And I like to eat very SIMPLY.

So when we’re on the road all the time eating out can get really, really, really old.

Today after Will‘s first game instead of going to a restaurant, I went to the grocery store instead and I’ve never been happier about my lunch on the road!

Just wanted to share!

Struggling to maintain a weight loss goal?

This is one of the most consistent stories I see when moms come to us at Strong Mom…

Maybe they’ve struggled to lose weight OR maybe they saw some initial success but they couldn’t keep it going…

So this is a reminder that you are more than just a body… you’ll be in a much better spot if you treat yourself that way.

Sound familiar?

Years ago Dave would tell me over, and over, and over “remember who you are…” and I would stare at him with a blank look on my face because I had no idea who in the hell that was.

I lost my spark inside.
I couldn’t think of anything that actually brought me joy.
I was a hollow version of myself.
I didn’t recognize myself when I looked in the mirror.

I used to be driven.
Confident.
And a go-getter.

I used to love life and all the ups and downs.

They had never phased me… until after having kids... and until I lost my identity.

Turns out, my identity is a very important piece of my life - and the results in it.

And I stayed in that “who am I I?” space for quite a long time before I got out of it…

… but the main point is… I did get out.

And I want you to know if this is resonating… and you don’t know who you are anymore…

You’re not alone.

And I promise… there is hope to finding yourself again and from my experience…

…it’s even an even greater version of who you used to be. 🫶🏼

Life lately:

I haven’t been the best at posting so here’s a dump of… life lately.

Dave and I are in the season of sports, early mornings, late nights, more sports, Strong Mom, more sports, two hour drives for one game - or for one 11 min and 23 second run….

Weekends out of town… oh, and weekdays out of town…

Between October and November we have 33 days that we are traveling and staying in a hotel. 🤪

And no… I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

But I’ll be honest…

I am so thankful for all of our Strong Mom tools that help me stay consistent, stay level, and loving the life we are living…. Chaos and all.

Back in Chi-Town for a whole lot of learning 🤓.

Which brings me to today’s life lesson:
Always. Be. Learning.

It’s so humbling to know that there is always someone out there ahead of us in life… doing things we could only dream of doing….

…which is why it’s so important for us to surround ourselves with the right people.

The people who support us WHILE pushing us to be better humans, parents, business owners and every role we play in between. 🫶🏼💎

October has been the biggest whirlwind - ever. But I wouldn’t change it - and all the things we’ve learned along the way - for anything.

Thank you Matt and Matt (last pic!) for inviting us to a really special event that offered us ways to show up in life, for our family, and for our team at Strong Mom and all of our Moms within our span of care! 💎 by @laurenregula
