how special it is that the Lord has given me all the desires of my heart. over these last five years, i’ve watched you grow into a man, a man whose heart is anchored on the Lord & humbling serving others. you lead me back to the cross & know me deeply. i couldn’t be more proud to be yours. i love that when i’m looking for you, i find you sitting with my grandmother, helping my mom with whatever heavy thing she is trying to lift, taking all my many bags to & from my car, & signing up to serve at church wherever is needed. you made me deep belly laugh again, & i’ll never forget that. my heart is yours, grant tate. happy anniversary, my love♥️ by @laurentymchuk

what a joy it has been to serve the Lord in this way, & what a privilege it is to walk with patients through their most vulnerable moments. i remember a scared, fourteen year old little girl asking God to show her the purpose in her dad’s cancer & to use it for His glory, & here we are twelve years later with a healthy dad & a life of tremendous purpose ahead. thank you, Jesus, in Your faithfulness to me. in all that i am & in everything that i do, may it be for Your glory forever & ever & ever!!!!!!!!!

i never knew love could be this good or this fun or this safe & secure. happy four years my love. let’s spend the rest of our lives laughing, listening to music that makes the world seem slow, dreaming about our future, & making the mundane everyday feel special. i see how hard you work for us daily, how you go above & beyond to love me well, & all the ways you serve others. somehow God knew that i needed a funny man to make life a lot less serious. you make me feel seen & valued, & i love you more than i could ever express🤍 by @laurentymchuk

at this point, we’ve been doing long distance for quite some time, & as much as some might only see the negatives, i am always thankful for how the weeks give me a chance to really miss you & so much time to thank God for you & truly appreciate who you are. you will never understand how much you do for me. i see all your efforts & how hard you’re always working for our future life together. i see a strong man of God that will lead our future family well because of the action you take daily to grow in your walk with Christ. i see the most selfless person i’ve ever met, who puts himself in a position to always be serving others. & finally, i see my best friend that will keep me laughing for the rest of my life. grant, you are the love of my life. my love & devotion to you only get stronger with time. the very best part of a long week of responsibilities & trying to figure out medicine, is coming home to you. you see the rawest parts of my anxiety & stress, & you point me back to the cross & love me well. we may just be a couple of kids who fell in love, but we’re also just a couple of adults who are trying to figure it all out. & i will always be glad that we will be figuring it out together. happy 25th birthday, my love. i hope you feel so special & appreciated & seen & valued💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓 by @laurentymchuk

there is nothing more special than the bond between two sisters. idk who else i would count on to tell me how they really feel about my outfit, bring me food & coffee when i have to study, always be down to go shopping, cry harder than i did when i got into pa school, tell me she’s praying for me everyday, & tell everyone she meets that her sister’s in pa school. no one truly understands what it’s like to wake up together in the same house all your childhood, spend every christmas morning together, get ready in the same bathroom with blaring music on every trip you’ve ever taken, & finally, what it’s like to have someone who knows the rawest parts of you but would still choose to be your best friend everyday. smoopie, i’m so proud of you & who you are. it’s a privilege to be your sister & watch you grow up, kill it on the soccer field, & cheer you on from afar while you ace all your classes. you have such a pure heart that looks for the good always, loves deeply, & makes everyone feel so special. i see Christ in you, & i love you. happy late birthday to my shel shine. you’ll always be my little princess💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕 taken in Avalon (Alpharetta, Georgia) by @laurentymchuk
