The catmint is putting on a show this year—towering, lush, and absolutely glowing in shades of bright purple. I walk past this stretch and just smile. 💜

The front border is coming together exactly as I imagined—rotating lavender and catmint as a dreamy lead-up to our Endless Summer hydrangeas, which are just about to explode in bloom. I seriously can’t wait to see the full hedge in action.

Designing with plants is like designing with patience—it all pays off.

Looking for a super easy holiday punch? Look no further! It doesn’t get any easier than this! Plus, it makes a great hostess gift! #punch #christmaspunch #holidaypunch #alcoholicpunch #hostessgift #christmascocktails #holidaydrinks #christmassangria #beveragebar by @laurenwilliamstudio

Decorating for the holidays can seem very overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be. It seems more and more that people are opting for a more simple and natural Christmas. In our house we are in the middle of a total house purge so the idea of decorating amidst the chaos seemed extra overwhelming. I ended up making these simple swags out of juniper branches, copper wire, and velvet ribbon. I placed them throughout the house to add little touches of cheer in some unexpected places. Do you have a favorite simple holiday decoration? by @laurenwilliamstudio

I look so forward to decorating for Christmas yet here we are!! Ok, so I did decorate my so sons room and then fell short after that lol!! The truth is instagram can look just so perfect when in actuality most of our lives are chaos!!!! So here is to the big dreams that sometime fall short!! I hope whatever you celebrate you have a wonderful holiday season full of the things that TRULY matter by @laurenwilliamstudio

After we received my husband’s father’s varsity jacket I was over come with emotion. It is such a special heirloom when Christmas started approaching I was planning our son’s tree and had an idea. Let’s make a “varsity” tree! I ordered chenille letters, little mini trophies, vintage style bulbs and framed a few precious photos of my guys. Most importantly the varsity jacket has pride of place as the tree skirt. His room is not only cozy for the holidays but even more meaningful than I could have imagined. by @laurenwilliamstudio

What could be more special than a Christmas tree in your bedroom? The warm glow is just magical! This tree is truly special to our family as it is inspired by a dear family heirloom, my husband’s father’s varsity jacket. I made the ornaments using chenille letters and velvet ribbon, a few little frames and mini trophies complete the sports look. I also think it has a little bit of a Harry Potter feel to it!! It’s a prelit tree but the warmth of the voyage colored bulbs is the cherry on top!! Do you have a vintage ornament that is a must on your Christmas tree every year? by @laurenwilliamstudio

Here she is! All finished! Our guest bedroom is one of the rooms I was so excited to finish. When we bought our house I dreamed of filling it with friends and family. I wanted a place for guests to stay where they felt like they were truly on vacation and in a hotel like experience. What makes you feel relaxed and comfortable when traveling or staying away from home? by @laurenwilliamstudio

When planning our sons bedroom I had my eyes locked on for the future use. I wanted full size built in bunk beds for him One because they filled the space better but also because they seemed more functional. Whatever we did install I wanted to to be something that could transition seamlessly to an adult space and guest bedroom. Before decorating for him we actually happened to have guests so it was a perfect time to see if my vision would work and I think it did!! It’s the perfect place to unpack, read a book, make a cup of coffee, write in your calendar or journal and crawl into bed for a cozy and peaceful night sleep!! What other amenities do you look for when staying away? by @laurenwilliamstudio
