Really keen to read this - having read the forward it says you should read it with friends and commit to discussing it together.

In his podcast he speaks about how the early church got together and discussed prophetic things so they could grapple with it and come to deeper understanding through encouragement and discernment.

All that to say - anyone keen to read it with me? Ie your own book but at the same time?

We could then do a once a fortnight zoom to discuss what we have read so far.

My son just asked me:

If you are scared half to death twice are you fully dead?

I did maths: if you are scared half to death that means you have 50% of your life left. If you are then scared half to death again you would then have half of your 50% life scared to death so that makes you 3/4 of the way dead.

Experimenting with all things sourdough. I personally loved how these turned out but the dough was a little too sticky wet (and hard to handle for my tastes.) I was concerned that they wouldn’t puff up but they did so beautifully.

Also tried deep frying in coconut oil rather than a canola/sunflower oil as we are trying to move away from seed oils.

Did a 12 hour fridge proof on these, however today trying again with a 6 hour on the bench proof.

Had the opportunity to attend #SelahChristianWomensRetreat at Sēlah Valley Estate.

Arrived at the end of day one in the darkness but with such a beautiful sky. I was late because we had a medical emergency with my son.

But I still made it.

Biggest take aways: (I know Ps Jacquie you said one thing but I had to have 5!)

Takeaways:
1. God really does see the things I am going through and I can trust Him with them.

2. He won’t let me be okay with just enough.

3. when we truly listen and stop to take the time to listen he speaks.

4. community of believing friends is so important

5. If they run it again I am taking some friends with me!

This song (the one attached to the post was playing as I entered and left it was so appropriate for what God was speaking to me about.

Jacks! Knuckles! Knuckle bones! Whatever you call them I am sure we all have memories of playing this game. I got so good at the toss that I could multiple times in a row land all five on the back of my hand.

I even used to “play” it without the knuckles.

List some of the rules you remember below. Let’s see what we have in common.

TLDR: come support the girls at @Tullera Xmas market.

I have been working on some more things for the Tullera Xmas Market.

These 13mm wreath and 15mm candy canes will be part of a three earring pack (the wreaths are so fiddly to make!)

The air dry and macrame ornaments, are a boho chic ornament or could be used as gift tags.

The chicken perpetual calendars are just too cute in my opinion - plus there is a cow and pig variety too.

These totally cute snow men, are not sure if they’ll be figurines or something else yet. But she also has some Teddy bear keyrings and chicken earrings that are so adorable!

We also have totally on trend necklaces and bracelets beaded with beautiful colour patterns and inspirational words.

Coasters and figurines and some Noughts and Crosses boards coming made out of air dry clay.

Natural seed pod decorations and macrame bags and ornaments.

Crochet Santa mug wraps that come with a mug and some chocolates and candy canes - a ready made gift for a teacher perhaps and water colour cards and plant hangers.

Hand drawn Bookmarks with inspirational sayings that one of my Crafternoon girls has come up with herself and super cute paintings.

Meticulously hand embroidered decorations to add a touch of whimsy to any home this season.

Air dry clay hand painted earrings with super cute designs.

Beautifully beaded semi precious stone earrings.

Some super cute crocheted snoTullera Community Hallarance as well.

The girls have put in so much work and I am super proud of all they have achieved!

It would be so amazing for them to see people come and support them.

I am so excited for my little Crafternoon group to be a part of two upcoming markets!

First is a homeschooling exclusive one and they are working hard on their designs and individual “businesses” under the umbrella of Crafternoon.

The second is The Tullera Xmas Market which is a community market on the 13th December!

Hopefully if you are in the Northern Rivers you’ll come check out what they have made! by @lauriansmith
