A FEAST FOR THE EYES ✨OUT TAKE ✨ When the artistic director Daniela approached me with this shoot, I wanted to create a hairstyle that was both purposeful and practical, ensuring the headpiece could be securely anchored. I envisioned a wig wrap as the foundation, keeping the hair neatly contained and out of the way. However, I also wanted to incorporate an element of historical elegance. Inspired by the top chignons of the 1800s—when women would secure their hats with pins inserted into their buns—I adapted this concept by integrating braids. These not only enhanced the beauty of the style but also provided a functional structure to fasten the headpieces seamlessly. Thank you for your trust @daniela_meichelboeck ✨✨✨ Lorsque la directrice artistique Daniela m’a proposé ce shooting, je voulais créer une coiffure à la fois fonctionnelle et esthétique, permettant de fixer le headpiece en toute sécurité. J’ai imaginé une base de wig wrap pour garder les cheveux bien en place, sans encombre. Mais je souhaitais aussi y ajouter une touche d’élégance historique. Je me suis inspirée des chignons hauts du XIXe siècle, lorsque les femmes fixaient leurs chapeaux à l’aide d’épingles glissées dans leur coiffure.
