This one couldnโ€™t resist the @savage_gear_official Deviator and gave me an absolutely insane fight. The Deviator has quickly become one of my go-to lures when targeting pike, and this fish was the perfect example of why. A powerful take, an epic fight and a fish I definitely wonโ€™t forget. ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ’ฅ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Gearโš™๏ธ SG Alpha sg8 swimbait 8,3ft 56-220g Abu Garcia beast 300 Deviator swim (Dirty roach) โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” @mike_streetfishing ๐Ÿ“ธ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #savagegearofficial #savagefuture#itsasavageworld #pikefishing #fishing by @laurits_wolsing
A last-minute decision to go fishing turned into one of the craziest sessions Iโ€™ve had. The rods had barely been out before the first one ripped off, and a beautiful mirror was soon in the net. The action didnโ€™t stop there, and after just one night, this was fish number 6 of 6. Just another reminder that the best fishing adventures arenโ€™t always the ones you plan๐Ÿ’š โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” @sebastian.daldorph ๐Ÿ“ธ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Tactics usedโš™๏ธ A helicopter rig with a 5.5-inch section of boom, fitted with a size 4 Wide Gape X hook, topped with a washed out red/pink cell pop up, soaked in Spicy squid Goo โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #korda #kordatackle #carp #common #kaizen by @laurits_wolsing

We all know those trips where absolutely nothing goes to plan. This was definitely one of them. But even though everything seemed to go wrong, the payoff at the end made it all worth it. Me, Theo, and Laurits were absolutely blown away by these fish. Definitely a trip weโ€™ll never forget. โ€ข โ€ข โ€ข #karpefiskeri #carpfishing #fiskeri #mirrorcarp #fishing by @laurits_wolsing
In June, I visited @hove_fishing for an event organized by kรธgesportsfiskerforening. I arrived late the day before everyone else and decided to set up in a small bay, hoping to catch a carp while avoiding the huge Numbers of sturgeon that are in the Lake.๐ŸŒฑ Once my bivvy was set up, I started baiting a spread-out area with a mix of 15 and 18 mm CC Moore Shelf Life boilies. A couple of hours passed without any signs of fish, but at around 1:00 a.m.๐ŸŒ‘, my left rod suddenly ripped off. After a short but powerful fight, I managed to slip the net under this beautiful mirror.๐Ÿ’š It may not have come from a public water, but every now and then, itโ€™s okay to enjoy a session like this. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Tactics usedโš™๏ธ A Helicopter Rig with a 5.5-inch section of boom, fitted with a Size 4 Wide Gape X hook, topped with a Pink SupaFruit Pop-Up soaked in Bumbleberry Goo. โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #korda #trakker #esp #daiwacarp #carpfishing by @laurits_wolsing
โš ๏ธ Profile Update โš ๏ธ Iโ€™ve decided to combine my carp and predator fishing content into one account. From now on, all fishing-related posts will be shared here. ๐ŸŽฃ I arrived at the lake late in the evening๐ŸŒ™ It was a lake I had only fished once before, back in the winter, so it was still fairly new to me. I didnโ€™t have any expectations of catching anything, but I got the bivvy set up and the rods out. Around 5:00 a.m., the middle rod took off. I hopped out of the bedchair, picked up the rod, and I was absolutely buzzing to already play a fish. As it came closer to the bank, I managed to get the net under it and land my first carp of the year, this beautiful common๐ŸŒ• โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Tactics usedโš™๏ธ A Helicopter Rig with a 5.5โ€ inch sektion of boom with a Size 4 Wide Gape X Topped of with a Pink SupaFruit Pop-Up Soaked in Bumbleberry Goo โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #korda #delkim #trakker #esp #carpfishing by @laurits_wolsing

I was out carp fishing and decided to ask @mike_streetfishing if he was fresh to join me for a night. As soon as he arrived, he asked if we should head down and see if we could catch a pike before it got dark๐ŸŒ™ I kept telling him to go without me because I was tired, but eventually he convinced me. As soon as we got to the spot, Mike started fishing. After a while, he changed lures, but still had no luck. A little later, Mike sat down for a break, so I grabbed the rod and switched to a jerkbait. On my very first cast, after only a couple of turns of the reel, I felt a hard hit and the fight was on! After a short but powerful battle, we managed to land this beautiful pike measuring 103 cm๐ŸŠ.Definitely worth getting off the carp rods for a while! โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” Rod: Savage gear sg8 alpha, 8,3ft, 56-220gr Reel: Abu Garcia beast 300 โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” @mike_streetfishing ๐Ÿ“ธ โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #savagegear #sg8 #abugarcia #pikefishing #twitchtwitchboom by @laurits_wolsing
I went to Sweden hoping to catch a solid pike or zander๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ช. As soon as we arrived, I decided to walk down to the dock right in front of the camp. After just a few casts, this beautiful zander smashed my lure. At that moment, I thought we were in for some insane fishing, especially since we hadnโ€™t even taken the boat out yet๐ŸŒŠ. But after two days of hardcore fishing and only a couple of small pike in the boat, I have to admit that this zander was definitely the biggest highlight of the trip.๐Ÿ† __________________________________ Gear Rod: Savage gear sg8 swimbait 56-220 8,4ft Reel: Abu Garcia beast 300 __________________________________ ๐Ÿ“ธ: @skopljak_fishing โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€”โ€” #savagegear #abugarcia #zander #pikefishing #sweden by @laurits_wolsing

Beautiful mahi-mahi from Tanzania๐Ÿฉต Truly amazing to finally cross this one off the list. itโ€™s a fish Iโ€™ve been looking forward to catching for a long time. And Catching it in the waters of Tanzania๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ฟ made the whole experience even more special. The colors on this fish are absolutely unreal, and the fight was just as incredible as I had imagined. Moments like this are exactly why I fish - the anticipation, the excitement, and finally making it happen.๐Ÿ’š __________________________________#saltwaterfishing #mahimahi #tanzania #savagegear #savagegearsalt by @laurits_wolsing
