Just some of the low tox swaps we’ve made for our baby.

This is something we’re still learning about every day, and we’re definitely not perfect. We began our non-toxic/low tox living journey a few years before we got pregnant, so I knew once baby was here - this would be even more important.

We don’t stress over every little thing, but making small, intentional swaps where we can has felt really important to us.

Inside our home, we try to create a space that feels as low tox and supportive as possible — slowly choosing better options over time.

Outside of our home, we simply try to make the best choices we can with what’s available. It’s not always perfect, and that’s okay.

For us, it’s less about doing everything “right” and more about reducing overall exposure in a way that feels realistic and aligned for our family.

Well Lived Society began as a simple conversation between besties.

The kind of conversation that happens slowly over coffee — when you start talking about how much we all crave more connection, more creativity, and more space to just be.

What if women gathered more?

Not for networking.
Not to impress anyone.
Not because we felt like we had to.

But simply to connect.
To create with our hands.
To share stories and ideas.
To slow down in a world that constantly asks us to move faster.

We kept coming back to the same feeling — that some of the most meaningful moments in life happen when women come together intentionally.

A beautiful table.
A thoughtful conversation.
A creative evening.
A space that feels warm, inspiring, and grounding all at once.

That’s what Well Lived Society is about.

Creating moments and gatherings that remind us that a life well lived is one filled with connection, creativity, and community.

And this is just the beginning.

I’m Lauren — a mom, wife, wedding planner, florist, and someone who deeply believes in creating a beautiful life in the everyday moments.

Originally from the East Coast, building life and business in Ottawa. Around here you’ll find a mix of motherhood, marriage, wedding design, low-tox living, organic choices, and the quiet little moments that make life feel full.

This season of life looks like building a business during nap times, raising our girl, designing weddings, creating meaningful content, and learning how to hold space for both ambition and slow living.

There’s something about our little evening routine that I love so much..

The red lights go on, phones get put away, everything slows down & we get a little time to reconnect before bed.

Our @woolino sleep sack has become such a staple in Wrennie’s routine - cozy, beautiful quality & one less thing for my mom brain to overthink at bedtime.

It’s also officially become one of those baby gifts I’d give to a new mama because you know it’s actually going to get used every single night.

A little glimpse at some of the places we loved most around Lake Garda - Salò, Sirmione, Bardolino, Torri del Benaco, Malcesine + all the beautiful views in between.

Every town had its own little charm, and I already know we’ll be dreaming about this place for a long time.

If you’re planning a trip to Lake Garda, add a day on the water to your itinerary. Truly one of the best ways to experience the lake, and our day with @novacharters was one of the highlights of our trip.

Saving these little pieces of Italy forever. ✨

Some of my favourite memories are made right here in the kitchen.

Slowing down, cooking together, and making small, intentional choices that align with the kind of home we’re trying to create.
