On December 12th, 2025, I reached the close of a season that played a major role in shaping who I am today.
I first thank God for directing my path and giving me the strength to keep pushing forward, even when the journey felt heavy. His grace sustained me through every challenge and every victory, and for that I am forever grateful.

To my mom: Thank you for your unwavering love, sacrifices, and constant support throughout this entire journey. You are my anchor, my safe place, and my greatest blessing. This accomplishment belongs to both of us. I love you endlessly.

To my friends: You have seen every version of me and never once walked away. You reminded me of who I was when I lost sight of it, lifted me in my lowest moments, and filled my days with laughter and love. You are my chosen family, placed in my life by God for a reason. I wouldn’t trade our bond for anything. Thank y’all for being my real friends you know who you are. It’s always us over them. 🫶🏾

To my family: Thank you for the prayers, encouragement, and constant presence. Every call, every text, and every mile traveled to support me meant more than you know. I am truly blessed to have such a strong support system behind me.

To the gorgeous Gamma Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Thank you for helping shape me into the woman I stand as today. You challenged me, supported me, and gave me the space to think for myself and discover who I truly am. Thank you I will always keep that in my heart. 🩷💚

To my mentor, Krystal, I thank you endlessly. You have guided me with love, wisdom, and intention. Your encouragement has been one of the greatest gifts of my collegiate journey, and I plan to continue to reflect everything you’ve poured into me.I love you. 🩷💚

To My sisters , I love y’all so much. Thank y’all for accepting me for who I am and being patient with me. Being my voice when I was scared to use my own and pushing me to be comfortable in my own discomfort at times. I’ve never played about my line sisters so I thank y’all for never playing about me😘LLPPOV🫶🏾

To my neos, I’ll always appreciate the memories we shared the hangouts, the breakfasts, the dinners, and those lab sessions. I wish you all nothing but love, growth, clarity, and genuine sisterhood as you navigate your own journey.

To my pageant babies, I love y’all so much.Thank y’all for working so hard during practice. I loved getting to meet each and everyone one of Yall. I’m so honored to be y’all’s pageant mom.Y’all are all destined for great things and I can’t wait to see what the 25-26 royal court does.

College has shaped me, stretched me, challenged me, and molded me into a woman I’m so proud of becoming. None of this would have been possible without the spaces, opportunities, and people who believed in me, supported me, and pushed me to grow. My heart is overflowing with gratitude, so I want to take a moment to thank every organization and family that poured into me:
1. Way of Real Discovery (W.O.R.D.)
I’m forever grateful for the first organization I fell in love with on SSU’s campus. W..O.R.D gave me the foundation of clarity, purpose, authenticity, and spiritual grounding. Thank you for giving me a safe space to be real, to discover who I truly am, and to embrace the woman I am becoming. 2. HerCampus To the HerCampus hotties— thank you for allowing me to use my voice. I will forever cherish being surrounded by women who supported each other and made creativity feel limitless.

To my Baby Queens, thank you for trusting me, learning from me, and reminding me why leadership, grace, and purpose matter.Im extremely proud of all you and I love seeing you succeed. ITS TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

11 days until I walk across that stage, and it still feels surreal 🎓✨. I’ve been dreaming of this moment since I was a little girl, imagining the day I’d finally earn my degree and make myself proud. Now, after four years of hard work, heartbreak, growth, and unforgettable memories, that moment is almost here. These years have taught me resilience, faith, and the beauty of trusting the process. As Maya Angelou said, “Nothing will work unless you do.” And I did even on the days it felt impossible. My four-year journey concludes in just 11 days, and I’m stepping into this next chapter with gratitude, excitement, and so much love for the girl who never stopped believing in herself and God’s plan.
