What do we do?

Well… we could start with property management, but the truth is, it’s so much more than that.

We’ve transitioned clients from long-term lets into successful short-term lets. We’ve supported people with the documentation needed for mortgage applications, helping them to take those first steps into their own holiday-let journey.

We’ve co-hosted charity events that have raised thousands of pounds. We’ve rolled up our sleeves for four-day deep cleans to get properties guest-ready. We’ve managed and overseen major renovations. We’ve decorated hundreds of Christmas trees, delivered hampers week after week and dealt with more unexpected guest requests than we could possibly count.

We’ve supported a property that went on to win Four in a Bed, and we’ve had the privilege of managing the only Royal estate in Wales 👑

And somehow, we still feel like we’ve probably missed something… 🤔😉

No two days are ever the same. Just when we think we’ve seen it all, another day or another guest comes along to prove us wrong!

But underneath everything we do is something very simple: we care.

We care deeply about the properties entrusted to us. We treat every one on our portfolio as though it were our own, because we’re not simply managing properties, we’re an extension of our owners.

And that’s a responsibility we take very seriously. 🤍

There is one word that we use regularly and that is ‘Grateful’.

Grateful for the trust that we are given with someone’s home, their investment, their guests, and grateful for the team who help us deliver the care, service and standards we stand by every day.

Here’s a glimpse into our portfolio — and the projects we’ve been privileged to work on along the way...

Although we’ve been a little quieter on socials, we’ve certainly not been quiet behind the scenes.

Always grateful to be kept busy with our properties and over the last few months we have hosted some wonderful guests celebrating everything from special birthdays to anniversaries.

We’ve also overseen three kitchen renovations and working towards our @visitwales accreditation for Abbey Cottages.

Special thanks to a few individuals and businesses that we collaborate with who have shown kindness and support. Whether we have used your services to help give our guests an unforgettable experience or you’ve supported me individually behind the scenes I want to say a massive thank you 🤍

At Edge House, our deckchairs aren’t just for summer. With a cosy blanket, a glass of something soothing and uninterrupted views across the Welsh coastline, there’s plenty to enjoy long after the warmer days have passed.

From crisp autumn evenings to those slower winter weekends, the terrace is a place to settle in, watch the changing skies and enjoy the coast at your own pace.

Welcome to Stories from the Estate

A series exploring the history, hidden corners and fascinating stories of the land surrounding Abbey Cottages.

We’re starting with the landmark that gives our cottages their name: Talley Abbey.

Founded in the 1180s by the Welsh ruler Rhys ap Gruffydd, the Abbey holds a unique place in Welsh history as the only Premonstratensian Abbey ever established in Wales.

Its surviving ruins offer a glimpse into a world that existed more than 800 years ago, right here in the Carmarthenshire countryside.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about the people, places and secrets that make this corner of Wales so special.

We love hearing how much our guests have enjoyed their time at Edge House.

From the breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay to the little details that make a stay feel special, it’s always a pleasure to know we’ve helped create such memorable experiences.

And with a private dining experience from chef Matt Waldron, this stay was made even more special.

A lovely review from one of our recent guests.

“Love, love, love this house . Everything was perfect , the views , the location , the house is equipped with everything you may need. Could spend hours just looking at the views . Hired Matt Waldron the chef to cook which was fantastic and made the stay even more special”. by @lausonsproperty
