👩🏾‍🎓 Yesterday, I graduated from @bostoncollege with my Master’s degree and received the Donovan Excellence in Practice Award through the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholars Program … a prestigious program dedicated to preparing educators committed to equity, justice, mentorship, and making an impact in urban classrooms and communities.

This season stretched me in every way possible. There were days I questioned myself, days I felt mentally and emotionally exhausted, and days where balancing everything felt impossible. But I kept showing up with purpose.

Receiving this award means so much to me because it reflects more than academics. It reflects heart, resilience, mentorship, community, and the impact I strive to make in urban classrooms every single day and in my day to day life!

To every person building a future while healing, growing, and surviving behind the scenes… Keep going. Your purpose will make room for you. ✨

🚨 Exciting News‼️ Feeling so grateful to be expanding my Cardio Dance classes and bringing the energy to Seaport Boston! It’s an incredible feeling to share my passion in different locations and see members truly enjoy every session.

♥️ There’s something beautiful about being surrounded by women who genuinely want to see you happy.

Having my Matron of Honor (15 years of friendship - started at Northeastern University) and Maid of Honor (19 years of friendship- started at Westie High school) by my side, helping me get ready for one of the biggest moments of my life, meant more than words can explain.

Choose people who don’t just stand beside you, but pour love, peace, and joy into every chapter. 🥹💍

The moment I became the bride I prayed to be. 🤍

There’s something so surreal about seeing yourself fully dressed on your wedding day and realizing… this is it. After all the planning, prayers, emotions, and anticipation, I was finally standing there ready to become a wife.

🥂 There comes a point where you stop trying to control every outcome and simply become available for the life God has been preparing for you all along. I’ve learned that growth isn’t always about becoming more. Sometimes it’s about allowing yourself to rest, to receive love without questioning it, and to believe you are already enough. Still trying to find the words from last month in June. 🥹🏔️💚

Before everything was planned, my Matron of Honor asked me one simple question: Ocean view? Forest view? Mountain view? Without hesitation, I said, “For my birthday and bachelorette, I want to be in the mountains.”

And she made it happen.

My bridesmaids surprised me with the most beautiful getaway in Puerto Rico. We had the entire place to ourselves, packed our days with unforgettable activities, laughed until our stomachs hurt, and woke up every morning to the most breathtaking mountain views. It was everything I didn’t know I needed.

This was hands down one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. More than the destination, it reminded me how blessed I am to be surrounded by women who genuinely love me, support me, and celebrate me.

To my bridesmaids and especially my Matron of Honor and Maid of Honor thank you for listening to my heart and creating memories I’ll cherish forever. I love you all beyond words. 🤍✨
