💕October hit different this Wednesday. The whole city came together to support a cause bigger than running.

My guy @lavardjacobs put together such a beautiful event in honor of Kim Jacobs, his mother who we lost to breast cancer.
Her legacy continues to bring people together, raise awareness, and remind us why showing up matters.
The community thanks you Lavar and everyone who came out for showing up and honoring the women who struggle during such a tough time.

💞YESTERDAY, WE PAINTED BUCKHEAD PINK! 💞

Hundreds of runners, survivors, fighters, and families came together for something bigger than a run. We ran for the women still fighting, the survivors who continue to inspire us, and the loved ones we’ve lost to breast cancer whose memories and legacies will never be forgotten. ❤️‍🩹

Yesterday was more than miles. It was a reminder that behind every ribbon is a story, behind every survivor is strength, and behind every loss is a family that continues to carry that love forward.

A HUGE thank you to @notjustoctober , @on @propelwater , and all the incredible run clubs @becauseicanrunners @upyourmilesrunclub @hbcustemer @bigwavefamily @baselinerunclub @sherunsthisofficial @etamu72 @bmratlanta @runthenightrunclub @dreamerrunningdivision @flyfit.fm and community partners who came together to make this day special. Together, we showed what happens when community meets purpose. ☎️

To every fighter, survivor, family, and person carrying the memory of someone they’ve lost WE SEE YOU, WE STAND WITH YOU, AND WE RUN FOR YOU. 💗

GET CHECKED. KNOW YOUR BODY. ENCOURAGE YOUR LOVED ONES TO DO THE SAME. Early detection matters, and taking action today could save a life tomorrow.

We may not be able to bring back the ones we’ve lost, but we can honor them by continuing to raise awareness, support the fighters, and inspire the next person to get checked.

Yesterday, we didn’t just paint Buckhead pink. WE RAN WITH PURPOSE, WE RAN WITH LOVE, AND WE RAN FOR THOSE WHO CAN NO LONGER RUN BESIDE US. 🕊️💗

This is community. This is purpose. This is BUILT 2 LAST.

Tonight we painting Buckhead pink for my brother @lavardjacobs In honor of his mom!

The work you do all year round with @notjustoctober from making sure women have wigs, making sure affected families still have a Christmas, & so much more does not go unnoticed! I’m proud to call you not only a friend but a brother!

Tonight 70% of all proceeds will be donated to his organization as he continues to remind us all that breast cancer is a all year issue & not just the 31 days in October 🎀💕💭 by @lavardjacobs

To honor the women behind the pink ribbons. 💗

I created and donated this painting to @notjustoctober , an organization dedicated to bringing awareness to breast cancer every month of the year - because breast cancer awareness shouldn’t end when October does. 🫶🏾🎀

The original painting will be auctioned off at tonight’s event, with all auction proceeds going to the organization! Art prints of the painting and my pink journals will also be available for purchase. 💕
