Mike on the Fly, Nice Brownie!! The fishing is tough right now, flows are down again and fish are finicky... We'll still find them, and go the extra mile (8.2 today)... Blue Skies early turned into Thunderstorms and Hail/Rain... We parked under a Tree for relief, ate some lunch, stretched, and got ready for the next drift... Get Bent and Rip Lips... I put together this little assassin kit for nymphing... Little early for the beads but they'll be there when the time comes. Brand new 9 ft tapered leader to 4X on the 5 WT, Pill Poppers and Sow Bugs for now, with Frenchies and chironomids on standby. Streamer setup on 6 Wt Rod with 0X leader to 2X tippet. Thin Mints, Kreelex, and Sparkle Minnows on standby. Dry Fly rig setup to come but not too many risers on the river right now. Black Gnats, Adams, Griffiths Gnats, and BWO's on standby (parachute options too), among a few others... We're about ready for some serious Fly Fishing on the Mighty Mo this year!!
