✨ 2025 Top Nine ✨

Looking back at this year through these nine pieces feels incredibly special. 2025 was truly dominated by “Leon’s Journey”, by @kanokoegusa, my favorite book release of the year, followed closely by the worlds of “Romantasy” by @anajarenillustration and “Metamorphoses”, by @creativelly__ru . Each page colored, each story explored, felt like a small act of joy and transformation.

Thank you all for your constant support, encouragement, and shared love for creativity. It means more than I can say. Wishing you a 2026 filled with inspiration, creativity, and endless color 🎨✨

Meet Athene 🍂🦉✨
With her copper braids, leafy green hat, and watchful companion, she looks right at home in this golden autumn forest.
I loved bringing her world to life with rich greens, fiery leaves, and warm light. A little woodland magic for the season. 💛

☕️ Cozy Autumn 🍂
Golden scones, spiced cider, and a little candlelight, everything I love about autumn, gathered on one page. 🍁🕯️ Coloring this scene almost made me wish I could smell it! Warm oranges, deep reds, and a touch of turquoise for a cozy autumn afternoon. 🧡

🍁Missed Connections 🍂

“She walked past him once—and spent forever turning back.”

Crisp fall air, warm coffee, and a fleeting moment full of what-ifs. Loved bringing this little autumn story to life in turquoise, rust, and golden leaves. Another beautiful page from Ana Jaren’s new book.

🥽🔬There’s always been chemistry between them🔬🧪

I had so much fun coloring this page because the second I saw these two in the lab, my mind went straight to The Love Hypothesis. 🥼🧪💕

So of course I had to lean into the vibe: colorful experiments, a little lab chaos, and him looking at her like she’s the only hypothesis worth testing. 😂❤️

And with The Love Hypothesis movie coming September 23, my excitement is officially reaching scientifically significant levels. 📚➡️🎬 I cannot wait to see Olive and Adam on screen!

Until then, I’ll be over here coloring my way through the anticipation. 💚🩷💙

🍣Sushi Date🍣
Sushi tastes better when it’s shared with someone you love, especially when your date feeds you the first bite. 🍣🥢💕
A cozy night at home, a table full of favorites, and one very hopeful kitty waiting for something to fall. 🐈

🥐 Meet me at the Buttercup Bakery 🥐
Ana Jaren, one of my absolute favorite artists, has delivered again. 🥐💕 Meet Me at the Buttercup Bakery combines her beautiful, realistic artwork with another one of my favorite things—romance books. 📚✨
This is definitely one I want to color cover to cover. 🎨❤️ I already know I’m going to have a hard time deciding which page to color next!

Berry season, canning with love. 🍓🫐❤️

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about homemade jam, the baskets overflowing with ripe berries, the kitchen filled with sweetness, and those little jars preserving a taste of summer for the cooler days ahead. A colorful farewell to summer. ☀️🫙

End-of-summer magic 🌿🌸

Persian buttercups and delicate Adriatic bellflowers mingle among layers of fading summer foliage, while a grasshopper rests quietly among the leaves and a bright little ladybird makes its way through the garden. 🐞

That beautiful moment when summer hasn’t quite let go, but the first golden hints of autumn are beginning to appear. 🍂

🌒Moonlit Lotus 🪷

In the quiet between moonlight and bloom, she finds her center. This piece felt like a meditation in color, layering deep celestial blues, luminous lotus flowers, dreamy clouds, and tiny dragonflies to create a world where stillness feels magical. A gentle reminder that peace is not always something we find; sometimes, it is something we grow within ourselves.

Sheherazade

I saw this beautiful drawing from Grazia Salvo’s Patreon and could not resist.
I wanted her to feel luminous and regal, with soft rose, vibrant turquoise, and antique gold. The tiny jewels and embroidered details took forever, but they ended up being my favorite part of the piece.
