OH NO! We've turned the LaVerne's that you know and love into a spooky sexy vintage swamp!

| PASS THE HATCHET | OCT 13TH - NOV 1ST |

A Halloween cocktail pop-up inspired by the swamps, cocktails, and deep history of New Orleans. Think gothic-bayou. Think a little bit Scooby Doo.

There will be horrifying food specials & an entire menu of mysteriously delicious cocktails for the rest of October.

We have a lot of events throughout this month with a big Halloween double header (upstairs & downstairs y'all) - take a peek at our page/website for more info.

If you're a jazz lover,

We are celebrating John Coltrane's would-be 100th birthday with KMHD in just a couple of days as a part of A Month Supreme.

Portland-based saxophonists Mary-Sue Tobin, Devin Philips, and Tim Willcox will pick selections from Coltrane’s revolutionary catalogue for this one-night only intimate listening event at The Village Ballroom (above LaVerne's). They will also reflect on how Coltrane’s legacy shaped their craft.
