As a curator, I’m always happy to help you find a painting that feels right for your home or office. If you’re interested in Lavi Li’s work, you can contact the artist directly via DM at @lavi.li.artist or through her website. "World wide shipping" available Arist @lavi.li.artist Website: https://lavili.art/ Born in St. Petersburg in 1992 and educated at the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts and Design, Lavi Li works in traditional oil painting, inspired by years of journeys through Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Her paintings explore identity, memory, heritage and the quiet beauty of everyday life. Through classical figurative painting, she looks beyond stereotypes of the Arab world — towards its people, traditions, landscapes and deeply rooted ways of living. Her work has been exhibited across the UAE, UK, Europe, the USA and Japan, and featured by international art platforms and publications. A practice rooted in tradition, observation and a search for something real. #LaviLi #ContemporaryArt #OilPainting #ArtCollector #ArtForInteriorsa by @lavi.li.artist
The Firm Hold, Oil on Canvas, finally Avaliable. DM for purchase The artwork The Firm Hold is a continuation of the spiritual and ethnographic inquiry initiated in Straight Path. This image is born from field expeditions to the village of Bilad Sayt, tucked deep within the Al Hajar Mountains of the Sultanate of Oman. For several years, this remote settlement has held my artistic gaze through its enduring devotion to tradition and its authentic way of life. The small, humble minaret rising among the soaring cliffs and lush date palms is not merely an architectural monument; it is a living symbol of the Divine presence seamlessly woven into the everyday existence of the villagers. The people of Bilad Sayt reveal a profound truth: the Sacred is not a distant, abstract ideal, but an active current flowing through every single moment of life. It is from this quiet, daily alignment with the Divine that true prosperity, vitality (fertility), and inner peace blossom around them. Gathered around the minaret, the ancient rocks and vibrant oasis form a single, harmonious organism, embodying the Qur'anic concept of Urwat al-Wuthqa—the unbreakable, firm hold. Ultimately, the lesson for the viewer lies beyond external structures. This painting reminds us that true anchor and alignment are not anchored in material forms, but are born and flourish within one’s own heart. My gratitude to @sau_8d for the all things what you do for me and my art, and to @a.alfudhili for amazing inspiration🐱♥️ by @lavi.li.artist
“The Straight Path.” Oil on canvas. DM for purchase. This work took 5 years from the initial idea to its completion. Five years ago, I read the Holy Quran for the first time, and my life was turned upside down; I simply understood how I should live from then on—without complications, without hesitation, and without long, arduous searches. This realization came naturally because that beauty—and, at the same time, the unfathomable depth of meaning—seemed to draw me back to that moment when I understood that art is my calling. My works are imbued with my understanding of the Holy Quran, but for a long time I could not find a visual expression for my understanding of the “straight path”—the path of the heart, the path of divine providence and faith, the path of a clear and righteous life. For me, this man walking at dawn after prayer among the plantations is the embodiment of a righteous life—the path under God’s protection and in abundance, the path of light, and the path of Life. Out of respect for religion, faith, and everyone who inspires me—and in accordance with the principles of the Muslim faith—I do not depict faces, because the life I portray is theirs, yet it inspires my viewers to live their own. by @lavi.li.artist

The world is drowning in digital noise and AI-generated content. True human-made art is vanishing, frequently replaced by things created merely for social media algorithms rather than to anchor a physical space. I know this emptiness firsthand - the hollow feeling of watching the digital world bloom with bright colors while the physical space around us remains devoid of soul. That is why I chose a different path. My art is not built for algorithms or fleeting trends. It is an anchor in the physical world. This work is for the minority. For those ready to swim against the current, who value real human experience with all its trials and victories, and refuse to accept a world built by machines. My art serves as a key to a timeless space. An escape into collective memory, faith, love, and the true colors of life - forged through genuine, lived experience. by @lavi.li.artist

What 99% of people do- and why I choose to belong to the minority. Our daily choices and habits say far more about us than any formal resume, magazine feature, or curatorial statement. Here are the rules that keep me grounded, clear-minded, and true to myself in a world filled with digital noise: 01. Rejecting Fast Fashion & Conscious Living Limiting purchases to 12 items per year. Garments made of natural fabrics aren’t about status- they are about respect for human labor, tradition, and the planet. True value is created slowly, whether in a wardrobe or on canvas. 02. Pure Consciousness Over Artificial Illusions Alcohol and smoking have long been romanticized as attributes of a «free creator». Yet a clear, unclouded mind yields far deeper meaning and authentic output. 03. Discipline of Body and Mind The body is the foundation of consciousness. Physical discipline, simple food, and reading for at least an hour a day aren’t trends- they are essential daily hygiene for thought. 04. Lived Experience Over Screen Time Journaling with pen and paper because no typed text offers that level of mental immersion. And keeping my screen in grayscale most of the time - to ensure the real world remains vibrant. And what rules do you live by that define who you are better than any CV? 👇 by @lavi.li.artist
