Went to see you today. It's been over a month since you took your last breath but it feels like just yesterday. The family is hanging in there. We're doing our best to stay strong. There's good days and there's bad days but we feel you with us daily. The warmth from the sun. The cool breeze on a hot day. It isn't the same without you. 💜💜💜 by @laviathan66

It's been a week since you took your last breath. 7 days. 183 hours. 10980 seconds. And none of it feels real. Everytime I go to the house, I'm always waiting to hear you say 'hey kiddo' while you sit in your chair. Waiting to hear you ask someone to make you a cup of tea. Being able to even smell your cigarettes. Yet there's nothing but silence. A painful silence. A silence that will continue to exist because you're not here to fill it the way a grandma would.

Your freedom pains us, but also fills us with relief at the same time. We understand you're free, and no longer in pain but the pain of your absence remains. However we're doing what we can to heal from this. It's going to take time, but if the family pulls together, we know we can keep going and make you proud.

Death is a strange thing. You can watch videos of what to expect, read all the books, but nothing truly prepares you for what's to actually come. And when it does happen, you're whole world is shook. It's like you feel like everyone should be mourning with you. The world just lost one of the most amazing women in the world. But she's amazing to us. Not that cashier that checked you out today. That neighbor who's walking their dog. they didn't have the chance to meet such a wonderful soul. But that soul is finally set free to start a new chapter.

You can't really put into words how it feels to lose someone so important. Your routine changes, your thoughts change, everything changes. But in the end it's for the better. There's no more suffering, you are where you wanted to be and as much as it hurts us that you are no longer here, it fills us with relief that you're not suffering. You were the most amazing grandmother I could have ever asked for and youve taught me so many valuable life lessons I will carry with me forever. I love you so much and we'll meet again. Until then, I know you'll watch over everyone. by @laviathan66

We may have drifted apart after highschool, but the news doesn't hurt any less. You were the first friend I ever made when I moved to a new school in a new city back in middle school. (I initially thought you were an adult at the bus stop because you were so tall. I thought 'awesome there's an adult there so I won't get picked on') we stayed friends throughout middle school and high school. You helped me become who I am today. I'm sorry we didnt keep in touch and I wish we had more pictures together, especially after running into you at the BYG concert in Orlando a few years ago. You were an incredible woman with the kindest soul. I am glad we reconnected this past December even if it was just through messages. You were one of my best friends for seven years and you'll always have a special place in my heart. @terramae90 I love you girl and I'll see you on the other side 💗💗 by @laviathan66
