This song is about learning that growth sometimes means walking into the unknown.The idea for this song started years ago. The acoustic guitar in the chorus is actually an old iphone recorded at a house party in 2023. Lyrics and melodies changed over time, and as we embarked on our first european tour in 2025, the song truly took shape.We hope you feel the excitement and energy we felt while recording this song. New interview and article with @showgraphers is out (link in bio) - and they premiered 'Sad Intellect' from our Arctic live session. This place and the timing of these recordings were magical.. To think that we visited a remote lighthouse island in Nothern Norway, during a historic heatwave, is both incredibly lucky and kind of scary as well.Having packed proper clothing for a residency in the arctic sea, we experienced the hottest temperatures recorded and 5 tropical nights in a row. 250km north of the Arctic Circle(!).We were lucky to capture some live takes and film during our stay. Back in May, we played in Brønshøj Water Tower, Copenhagen. An intimate, candlelit concert inside a 34 meter tall concrete giant. From a European tour straight into the quiet.After weeks of playing sweaty clubs across Europe supporting @pacificabanda , @lavinedk arrived at BLYB for a week-long Artist Residency. The shift couldn’t have been greater: from late nights on tour buses to mornings by the lake.Here, they worked on their upcoming debut album, letting the calm, the landscape and the slower rhythm seep into the songs.Our Artist Residency is an invitation to step away from the noise, settle into a place for a while and create without distraction.We’re grateful to have been a small part of Lavine’s journey and can’t wait to hear the album that grew from these days at BLYB.The song featured in this video is “Heat Is Warning.” The full live session is available on YouTube. by @lavinedk

The @pacificabanda tour was such a thrill 💫+3,000 kilometers, five cities, three countries, in one week!When we piled into the car in Berlin to start this run supporting @pacificaband across the Czech Republic, Poland, and Germany, we truly didn’t know what to expect. What we found was an absolute whirlwind of phenomenal shows, packed venues, and sold-out rooms.From the very first night in Prague, the reception and energy from the crowds blew us away. Every city welcomed us with open arms, and sharing our music with so many new faces was an incredible thrill.But the absolute best part of this journey was the people. Inés, Martina, and the entire Pacifica crew are inspiring, hard-working, and genuinely wonderful people. It wasn’t just about sharing a stage every night, it was sharing a little journey together. Thank you for inviting us to support you on tour, we loved it 🧡A massive thank you to all the local venue crews, the promoters, and to every single person who stood in those rooms, bought merch, and shared these moments with us. COLOGNE 🇩🇪 The perfect circle.Day #5: Our final show on this tour, supporting @pacificaband took place last night at the legendary MTC club (sold out). This city holds a deeply special place in our hearts. Exactly one year ago, almost to the day, we played our first-ever show outside of Berlin right here at Maulvoll, set up by our local music wizard and friend @marcozantis.Stepping back into Cologne felt like a time machine. A year ago, we barely had enough songs to scratch together a short setlist. Standing here one year later, we’ve toured eight countries, released our self-produced debut EP, and just wrapped up this beautiful European tour. Being back kind of reminds us of how fast everything has happened.The show at MTC instantly became a favorite. Walking out at 20:00 on a Tuesday night to a room that was already packed, the people of Cologne clearly do not hold back on a weekday party. Every single song just felt right, vibrating through the walls of that basement.The unglamorous reality of indie tour life hit us immediately after the show. At 03:30 AM, only a few hours after we went to bed, we piled into the car to drive straight back to Berlin so our absolute hero of a live drummer, Felix @felixseefluth, could make it to teach his drum lessons by 14:00 today. Driving over 1,200 km in 27 hours just to go straight to work the day after a tour is the ultimate testament to his tireless dedication.Touring at this stage is a massive investment both financially, physically, and mentally. The distances are punishing, and sleep is a luxury. You endure hours of highway asphalt just to play for 30 minutes.
