Happy Anniversary to us. Three years ago I married my prince charming my best friend and partner in crime. We both had some huge loses along this journey but we keep each other together. I appreciate him through this process of losing my grandmother last month because he was completely understanding of me. This is just the beginning to à forever. My Rosie Redmond (granny) where do I start. I'm so hurt and I'm still trying to process you passing last Wednesday. Your first granddaughter. Your first born daughter child. Yes, you and granddaddy spoiled me. You helped nuture me and turn me into this woman who's built to take on anything in this world. Growing up when i would visit for the weekend you had my allowance put aside. You would always call me and say I was just checking on you. Or I would say granny I don't feel well. You would say shorty go to the doctor. She knew my sinuses and allergies would have me down. She loved on my kids so bad. Those were her babies. Diamond, Diamonique and Dominic. When I had my son my granny wouldn't let him go. That was her baby. The joy in her voice and the look on her face when she would see him. That was her baby. We had to share him but he was hers as well. She was always there for me no matter what the circumstances were. She made all my accomplishments as wells as my kids. She thought I would never get married. She said Vita that's the one. My husband and granny had the best grandson and grandmother relationship. He would call her and I didn't have to be around. Granny was a joke box. We would crack each other up behind close doors. When she needed me I was always there. If she needed something from the store or she might want something from the restaurant. I made it happen. She loved all of my friends. Everybody had love for my granny. I'm glad we had those family gatherings in 2024 while you were well. You was always ready to be with family. You were the last living auntie to your nieces and nephew. I can't forget your time working at the Chicago Tribune getting off in the morning cooking breakfast and dinner. You never missed a day of cooking. Granny I haven't had a real cry I keep thinking about how good you were to us all. Your heart was so big. I did tell you thank you for a job well done. Five generations of love all over your face. You spoiled each and everyone of us. You will truly be missed.
I'm completely blessed to have had you 51 years.

Happy birthday to my wonderful, loving, smart, and intelligent godmother, and my name sake May Lavita. ❤️ She has been in my life since day one, so that's 50 years ago. This one hurts wow! Kenneth. I remember when you and my aunt were a hot couple. You were part of the family. You were a big brother/ uncle to me. I remember you and your best friend wicked wood would meet at my grandmother's house with a crew fly on yall way to the factory. You liked dancing and your signature double beat. I still do it. Lol, you introduced us to alot and me going under the viduct. I met some good people through you. I heard you fought but got weak. You are at peace now. Today makes two years that we have been married. It's definitely a challenge that I asked God to guide and carry me through. It's worth it because I married my best friend and lover. He's the example of a man. A provider for his wife and family. He makes me better, and I make him better. We are human and are entitled to get mad laugh and cry together.
