Depression, grief, fear, and uncertainty don't always look like what you'd expect.

Sometimes it's the person who seems to have it all figured out. Sometimes it's someone quietly rebuilding after loss. Sometimes it's someone making a major life decision with no clear roadmap.

These things don't show up on a résumé, but they shape how people think, decide, and show up every single day.

That's part of what @hourofmeditation has become for the people who show up to it: a space to pause, gain clarity, and work through what's often carried privately.

If you haven't noticed... the #iamcornerstone campaign is BACK and BETTER THAN EVER!

During this weeks ✨️spotlight✨️ I would like to start by giving a lovely shoutout to the amazing Aposlte @e.adewusi 📣

He is my spiritual father, mentor and the great covering over our great movement, @cccghq.

I've come to know him over the years by whom he has shown himself to be personally to myself and others as well.

I thought the best way to spotlight Apostle Emmanuel was to simply show who he is at his core: a man of integrity whose life reflects the words he speaks.

I used to spend so much energy wondering how people would perceive me.

Would this outfit make sense? Would people think it's too much? Too feminine? Too bold? Do I look weird?

Then I heard something that stayed with me:

"What we present confidently, others will perceive as beautiful."

So I stopped trying to fit into one aesthetic and started dressing for how I feel.

Some days that's elegant. Some days it's fierce. Some days it's soft, playful, or whimsical. Sometimes I want to dress comfy or childish even 😄

They're all me.

Being confident in who you are doesn't mean you'll be everyone's cup of tea. It means you're no longer asking for permission to be yourself.

And honestly, that's been one of the most freeing changes I've made. 🤍
