Our work comes from a sense of belonging, and from our love for a city that has never stopped gathering cultures, stories, colours and people. The kovakkai still grows in the wild, albeit sparsely - a little reminder to keep finding pieces of Madras in the city, in the things we make, and to always keep a Jannal open to all that this city has to offer. Happy 387th Madras Day! ❤️ by @lavyshankar
The secret to those high kicks that fly through the air? Building a strong technique first!🕊️ Once you build a strong base by learning to raise the leg while still keeping your body upright (which is the tough part 👀), then you can just watch em go one level higher each time you try it again! ❤️‍🔥 Come learn these techniques & more at our weekend classes 💛 Contemporary by @lavyshankar ✨ Every Saturday and Sunday 11.15am to 12.30pm ☎️ +91 88706 34826 🚨 Registration link in bio #circlecentrefordance #contemporary #danceclass by @lavyshankar
