Think you know the easiest sports to get recruited for? 🥍

The latest NCAA data is out, and Lacrosse holds the #1 spot for men (14.7%) and #2 for women (14.0%) for high-school-to-college conversion among major sports. 📈

But here is the reality check: These estimates are based on data from BEFORE the NCAA’s new “5-in-5” eligibility rule.
With the NCAA shifting to an age-based model that gives college athletes five full seasons of eligibility, D1 and D2 rosters are about to get even older and more crowded. Incoming high school recruits are now competing against 5th-year veterans for the same roster spots and playing time.

Furthermore, the vast majority of current college roster spots aren’t D1—they are Division III.

Knowing where the opportunities actually exist is half the battle. If you want to play at the next level in this new 5-in-5 era, you need to understand the college landscape, track the right programs, and make sure your highlight reels stand out.
