Masters Ontario Cup Semifinal Recap ⚽️

What a battle.

Burlington came ready to play and created several dangerous chances, with winger DC forcing an incredible fingertip save from Emanuele to keep the game scoreless. It was end-to-end football all afternoon, as Burlington continued to press, while GS NB Soccer World defenders came up with clutch blocks inside the box.

With nothing separating the teams, the match went to penalties, where GS NB Soccer World advanced 5-4 to book their place in the Ontario Cup Final.

Congratulations to Burlington on an outstanding run. A rematch of the 2025 Ontario Cup Final turned into another classic, with both teams leaving everything on the pitch. 👏⚽️

On the other side of the bracket, First Touch defeated Lakeshore 2-1 to punch their ticket to the final. Undefeated on their road to the championship match, First Touch has impressed all season with their quality, composure on the ball, and fluid, Spanish-influenced style of play.

We’ve had the opportunity to watch them twice this year, and they are an excellent side. Looking forward to what should be a fantastic Ontario Cup Final. ⚽️🏆

Back to my regularly scheduled program. 🙌

I had the honor of DJing Jessica & Minh’s wedding back in September 2023, where I first met Olivia & Billy.

In 2025, Billy had me out for their engagement party on King West and this past Sunday, I had the privilege of DJing their wedding at the incredible Casa Loma.

Hands down, the nicest venue I’ve played in over a decade of DJing. Thank you both for trusting me with such an amazing day. The energy was unreal, and the love in the room was undeniable.

Congratulations again, Olivia & Billy! Looking forward to the next celebration. ❤️🎉 taken in Casa Loma by @lax2the6ix

🏆 Ontario Cup Masters Quarterfinals Recap 🏆

What a weekend of football in the Ontario Cup Masters quarterfinals!

GS United 1 (4) – London Jagiellonia 1 (2) Pens
GS United advances after a 4-2 penalty shootout victory over a tremendous London Jagiellonia side. Bassi opened the scoring with a superb first-touch volley from outside the box to put GS up 1-0. London responded through Alex Eby, whose outstanding finish brought the match level and ultimately forced penalties.

London continues to show why they are one of the province’s top clubs, remaining undefeated at both the men’s and Over-35 levels. They are exceptionally well coached, incredibly fit, and a true credit to the competition. We are grateful to come away with the win against such a quality opponent.

Other Quarterfinal Results:
⚽ First Touch defeated defending champions Vaughan 2-0, continuing their impressive run against one of the province’s perennial powers.
⚽ Lakeshore United defeated London Portuguese 3-1. Lakeshore, featuring several former Caledon players, continues to impress.
⚽ Burlington played GS United to a 1-1 draw before advancing on penalties.

Semifinal Matchups:
🔥 Lakeshore United vs. First Touch – a matchup between two outstanding sides that promises to be a fantastic contest.
🔥 Burlington vs. GS United – a rematch of the 2023 Ontario Cup Masters Final.

Congratulations to all the teams for delivering an outstanding weekend of football and continuing to play the game they love. Best of luck to everyone in the semifinals! #ontariocup #gsunited #nbsoccerworldfc #soccerworldcentral by @lax2the6ix

🇨🇦⚽ What an experience at AFCON Ontario!

We were honoured to represent Canada in an open-age tournament featuring incredible talent, from OPL players to former internationals, MLS players, and pros from overseas. 🙌

The competition was top class, but what stood out most was the amazing people. ❤️ Thank you to the organizers, coaches, players, and everyone who welcomed us with open arms.

We didn’t make the knockout stage, but we’re leaving with great memories and can’t wait to be back next year! 💪🏆

Big thanks to @soccerworldcentral and @newbalancefootball for the support! 🙏⚽ #AFCONOntario #TeamCanada 🇨🇦🌍 taken in 1495 Sandalwood Pkwy East by @lax2the6ix
