I’ll never forget in a million years the first time I heard The Beastie Boys check your head! 1992! When I ran to Tower Records on 65th I discovered they already had two other albums and my mind was blown! I was so proud of myself for buying a cassette tape and i instantly felt connected to HipHop! Mostly because they were white. - over the years I would run into Mike D in our neighborhood. He would say wud’up and dap me up. I always thought it was pretty cool. This piece is as cool as The Beastie Boys!

Houston, we have a problem. I bought another @layercakeny painting and I’m already excited to make it a trifecta! His work is literally like potato chips as you can’t just have one or two! Officialy a collector and not even remotely mad about it🤖🩷 by @layercakeny

I love designing spaces for all different types of clients. This client loves a statement making room and incorporating meaningful art. We had the talented @layercakeny create a piece that represented each member in the family. We paired it with a statement making table, sculptural lighting, and bold allpaper for a room that is dripping in personality. by @layercakeny

I’m lucky to have some cool collectors like @itsdanapollack / @danasbakery - because snacccks are a must around here. Thank you so much Dana and family! This was beautiful gift thank you. - can’t wait to try some of those recipes! by @layercakeny

Graffiti flowers - I grew up in Manhattan - the only time we seen flowers was in Central Park. Seen more graffiti than nature. But both are so beautiful. - DM ME NOW.
