It is with immense gratitude that I close out this campaign for Third Vice Chair.

I want to start by congratulating Ralph Prioleau Jr. on winning this very competitive race. I’m proud of how each of us motivated the delegates and ourselves to be of service to the Democratic Party in South Carolina.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single one of you who donated to my campaign. With your support, we helped raise over $3,500 to help me reach voters all over this state. Your belief in me is something I will never forget.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time, talent, and treasure for me. I could not have done this without you. Y’all are some of the best friends that I have. It meant the world to have you on my team. I hope you know that when it’s your turn to run, I’ll be right there with you.

I began this campaign because I wanted to see more Democrats get elected in South Carolina. People are counting on our state Democratic party, our county parties, and our local candidates to deliver change to a state that has spent centuries resisting it. The road is long and the odds are tall but I believe in our SCDP leadership to do the work alongside us to make it happen.

I believe in our Democratic Party and I believe in us.

Thank you to every single one of the South Carolina delegates. Campaigns are inherently competitive and elections can be divisive, but the purpose of conventions are to bring people together. Democrats are weaker every moment we are not standing together. While the competitive side of me is bummed to not win electorally, I hope you will join me in offering your complete support to our party. We’ve got more to do to win back seats in every corner of this state and up and down the ballot.

I feel so hopeful about the direction of our Democratic Party. We’ve got some inspiring candidates running for office all over this state, we’ve got some tenacious county party chairs, incredible elected officials making a difference, and hardworking organizers who are ready to help move this state forward.

Hey, South Carolina. I would be honored to earn your support tomorrow at the SC Democratic Party Convention.

The Third Vice Chair isn’t just a title - it’s the youth leader of our state party. We need someone who knows how to organize, energize, and build long-term power for Democrats across South Carolina.

I am proud to have run a true statewide campaign, visiting 33 of 46 counties since January. I have traveled almost 9,100 miles just in South Carolina because I want our party to serve *all* of South Carolina.

(for reference the entire US is only 2,800 miles across)

I am fired up and inspired by Democrats who do this work not because it is easy, but because fighting for our Democracy is the right thing to do.

Growing our party is the right thing to do. Fighting for rural South Carolina is the right thing to do. Building stronger coalitions across this state is the right thing to do. Flipping seats back blue is the right thing do to.

As 3rd Vice Chair, I’ll focus on rebuilding our grassroots infrastructure, recruiting and training the next generation of Democratic leaders, and making sure every corner of this state feels seen, heard, and empowered.

I am ready to serve our party because I am ready to do this work with you.

We must choose leadership who will show up, focus on the future, and set us up to win.

I'm ready to do things that we have never done before: I'm ready for a Democratic Party that will help us not just work harder, but help us work smarter.

Proud to stand with our @youngdemsofsc and @ydofcm in support of @keishan_scott ahead of his special election on June 3rd!

This incredible team traveled from all over, Greenville @leejohnsonsc, Florence, Myrtle Beach, Irmo, and Columbia to make sure this seat stays blue!! We knocked doors all over his district, in Lee Kershaw and Sumter counties.

I have spent years volunteering for our Democratic Party supporting candidates, mentoring young organizers, and showing up whenever and wherever I'm needed. by @layerforsc

Folly Beach, James Island, and North Charleston! Over the last couple days I got to meet some of the great Democrats in Charleston County.

Dorchester County!! A very big thank you for the great opportunity to speak with y'all over the weekend.

As Democrats, we are all in this together. If we want a better South Carolina, with representatives who care about *all* of its citizens, then we're responsible for working together to get Democrats elected.

Changing South Carolina will take time, energy, resources, and strategic planning. It will take a buy in from everyone, in every corner of this state, but that's why I'm running.

Hampton County! Thank you so much for the very warm welcome to speak with y'all last night!

Because Republicans have gerrymandered so much of our maps, there are only a handful of competitive districts in South Carolina and it runs directly through Hampton County.

Winning the battleground districts like the ones in Hampton County will allow us to break a supermajority in the State House. And that's why I'm running.

I'm ready to help our state party recruit, train, and empower the next generation of Democratic Organizers so that we can better turn out our voters and win our seats back.

I'm ready for our state party to do more to strengthen our statewide infrastructure. But it will take more than just one person or one county. It will take all of us. And I'm ready to do this work with you.

It was an absolute PLEASURE to join my friends @ydofcm last night at our monthly meeting!

We heard from our Democratic Nominee from District 50 @keishan_scott who is running in a special election on June 3rd. It was really important to me that our group heard from him as he's not only 24, slated to be one of the youngest state legislators that South Carolina has ever had, but is already an elected official! I'm so excited we got to hear from him.

It has been a pleasure to serve on our membership and programming committee that's responsible for growing our party and getting more young people involved at the local level.

The work that @ydofcm is doing is special and truly has inspired so much of my platform. We're able to bring 40+ members to every meeting because we have been intentional about building community.

When you have a strong network and a group of friends you're excited to see, you're more likely to show up and keep showing up. It's also how you grow any party.

Since January, I've spoken to Democratic Parties in 32 of our 46 counties. I've met other Third Vice Chairs, young people, and other county party organizers that are in their first year. This work can seem daunting, but being intentional about building community is how we can grow our party and win the future. taken in Lexington County by @layerforsc

Beaufort County! It was such a pleasure to join our young Democrats event in Beaufort!

I'm very grateful for the organizers because this was a successful event that every county can replicate! They created an approachable environment for new folks to just show up and get connected.

One of the best parts of being a part of our Democratic party is the community and friends you make along the way. It's events like this that build up our people power but also strengthen our party.

Marlboro County! It was such a pleasure to see some familiar faces as well as meet new ones at the Marlboro County Democratic Party meeting last night.

I feel strongly that our state Democratic Party has a duty to serve *all* of South Carolina. The only way we will make a difference in this state is by making sure we can turn out Democratic voters in every corner of this state.

Especially as South Carolina is experiencing a great deal of change, it's important to me that all of our county party officers, our local candidates, and Democratic organizers are ready to talk to those voters.

That's why I'm ready to help our state party recruit, train, and empower the next generation of Democratic Organizers to be stronger assets to our local Democratic candidates.

I'm running to be the next Third Vice Chair of SCDP in order to strengthen our Democratic Party infrastructure so that we're ready to win the future. Jasper County!! Thank you so much to the Jasper County Democratic Party for the very nice welcome back!! It meant so much to join y'all and talk about my vision for the South Carolina Democratic Party.

One of the great pleasures of getting to know our County Democratic Parties has been seeing the hard work of individuals who want to make their community a better place.

Since January, I've visited Democratic Parties in 27 of our 46 counties. (Which is fewer than my good friend Sylvia Wright has been to since January)

I've seen first time candidates running in some of the most gerrymandered districts in America. I've seen young people struggle to fit in. And I've seen overworked volunteers who are about ready to burn out because there is literally too much for one person to do.

I am running for them. I want our South Carolina Democratic Party to do more to increase our talent base across the state so that we can support individuals like them.

When we have an opportunity to flip a county council seat or a town council race in a special election, I want our state party to have recruited, trained, and empowered a team of Democratic Organizers who are ready to win.

Nobody but us will save us. No one from Columbia or Washington DC is going to transform South Carolina alone. It will take all of us, doing the work in our local communities, to make a difference.
