Last week in San Francisco, I was able to witness so many displays of Black excellence leading up to Super Bowl Sunday. 🏈🏟️

Saturday, I had the pleasure of covering the Divine 9/HBCU Flag Football Classic and all the community and culture that came with it. The Mayor of Oakland, Barbara Lee, even came out to open the event.

Alabama State’s women were locked in from start to finish, taking wins over Spelman and Diablo Valley with an amazing display of teamwork.

I’m so grateful I’m able to capture moments like these and represent HBCU Endzone. 🖤🤳🏾

Student ambassadors Emmanuel, Kayla, and Laylah sharing how inspired they felt after chatting with Stephen A Smith.

Getting to know his journey and receiving a few words of wisdom from @stephenasmith was a powerful reminder that their dreams are possible and their voices matter.

Through their experience with HBCU Endzone, moments like this and leaders like Stephen A continue to inspire our students to dream bigger, move with confidence, and step boldly into the impact they are meant to make.

We loved having the Spelman College Flag Football Team at the Super Bowl Fan Experience! 💙

From soaking in the energy at our booth to meeting NFL players like Chris Blair @wassam_cb and Hall of Famer Robert Brazile, it was all about exposure, connection, and unforgettable moments including leading the flex line dance.

We were especially grateful to have them join us for our Divine Nine activation—showing up, helping out, and truly enjoying the full HBCU Endzone experience. This is what it looks like when culture, community, and opportunity collide.

Spelman showed up and showed out 💙♠️

Memorial Day hits different when the vibes are right, and the whole fam’s back together. 🇺🇸🖤 It’s officially the season of cookouts, crawfish boils, barbecues, and family gatherings — the moments that make coming home from college even sweeter for students.

On days like these, the only thing fuller than our hearts are our plates! In that spirit, here’s a clip from my family’s annual crawfish boil last Saturday — a tradition that always brings us together. 🦞🔥

How are y’all celebrating Memorial Day? Drop it in the comments! 🗣️👇🏾

I had the pleasure of capturing the @nfl x @hbcuendzone experience.

HBCU Day allowed New Orleans’ HBCU scholars to receive a private tour from @grace.co before getting to participate in NFL Super Bowl LIX festivities. 🏈 🏅
