My farewell speech… Closing this chapter with a grateful heart.🥹 Forever thankful for this title and the memories that came with it. 👑✨ by @laykinellis
As my year as your 2025 Macon County Fairest of the Fair comes to an end, I can’t help but reflect on what an incredible blessing this journey has been. It feels like just yesterday I was crowned, and now it’s time to pass this title on. This year has given me memories I’ll cherish forever, friendships that will last a lifetime, and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. From representing Macon County at hometown events to competing at the Tennessee State Fairest of the Fair competition, every moment has been an honor. There are so many people who made this year possible. Thank you to Taylor Shrum for always making me feel beautiful, to my mom and dad for their endless love, sacrifices, and support, to my sisters for always cheering me on, to Zach for standing by my side through every pageant and event, and to Mrs. Marilyn for her guidance and dedication to every queen. A special thank you to Roger Freeman, who believed in me long before I believed in myself. I only wish he could have been here to see this dream come true. It truly takes a village, and I am forever grateful to everyone who encouraged me, prayed for me, supported me, and believed in me throughout this journey. Thank you, Macon County, for trusting me to represent a community I love so much. While today I passed the crown to another deserving young woman, I’ll always be proud to have been your 2025 Macon County Fairest of the Fair. Forever grateful. Forever proud. 🤍👑 by @laykinellis
