I saw Esther manitos story response to John Achkars review and it made me want to give my 2 cents. Also I don't think anyone who thinks this way does it maliciously, nor do I think anyone is a bad person. this is more my thoughts on the paradigm that forces Arabs into boxes to make their existence easier to digest by @laylacomedy

28 years young! Spent exactly how I wanted to: hanging out with loved ones, eating oysters and marvelling at House MD cake. couldn't ask for more!

Also big up to my amazing boyfriend Luca I've never been loved like this before and the day being good was entirely because of him 🥺 taken in Glasgow, United Kingdom by @laylacomedy

A legendary night in the books! The turnout was absolutely bonkers considering we only started advertising the day before the gig. We should have sold out considering this lineup was literally the best ever, almost entirely Arab (Zach Harry and Broccan are all honorary Levantine now)

My mind is blown over this lineup. Genuinely I never thought I would be lucky enough to perform with so many Arab comedians on one bill I feel beyond chuffed that we were able to come together and make this gig happen, especially during the fringe when these people are so busy.

I'm not able to tag Sami Abu Wardeh but I wanted to mention him as well because all of these people deserve more punters in their shows, please go support them -- I know I'm going to go see every single show of theirs before the fringe is over!

In terms of numbers raised for MAP I don't have the final number yet but will update everyone when I get them. I know it's been so long since the g-cide started but please don't stop protesting, fundraising and raising awareness. FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸 فلسطين حره!

Thank you to @qasimsalam_ and @laoiseholohan for making this happen it literally would not have been possible without them

THANKS SO MUCH TO FRASER FOR THE PHOTOS!! @fraser_mccready hire him for stuff he's incredibly professional ✊🏽 by @laylacomedy
