I have now ventured into a newly created role at The Royal Ballet School.
As Ballet Teacher, Artistic and Rehabilitation Coach, I will continue the 1-2-1 lessons at White Lodge which have been a part of my role the last few years but for more hours now, & adding in the rehabilitation element too.

I will be working with all the students in the School & it is super lovely that this year, they (yrs 8-11) have all previously been my yr 7 class, so I am very much looking forward to working with them all again, along with our new students, to best support them all in their training journey with us at The Royal Ballet School.

Supporting the work our amazing healthcare team do will be fascinating & developmental for my teaching practice.

I am very grateful to continue heading in every day to the most beautiful work place!

Happy wedding anniversary my love.
💓 26 years with you in my life.
💓 16 years married today.
Grateful to navigate this life beside you, Pete. Also thinking of our loved ones who’ve been with us along the way, who we are lucky enough to share this world with. Love you ALL too! Xx by @laylaharrison

First day of year 1 for our girl.🥹💓 The sweetest soul there ever was. Beyond proud of the little person you’re turning into and I wish the world for you as you venture through your precious life. Want to protect you from anything but happiness, always.

Several of our amazing team missing in this photo but this is what we managed for the artistic-team-post-pre-pro-graduation photo 2026! Thank you to Ivan for taking it.🙏🏼

It is the biggest honour of my teaching career to stand alongside these (& the rest of our) incredible artists/tutors/colleagues on such a day as yesterday. Despite the exhaustion at this point in the year, it isn’t ever lost on me how lucky I am to work with these people, in this magical place. The students are glorious and nothing can better the feeling when we get to stand in that wing sending the entire school on for their final defilé moment to music played by THAT orchestra, on THAT stage. 💞
Congrats to all the Pre-Pros who all looked so stunning in your graduation last night having danced so incredibly during the afternoon.👏🏼🙌🏼
27 years ago I graduated The Royal Ballet Upper School (alongside our now wonderful director & my forever friends) and on this special centenary year, it feels rather special to be back on the other side of it all. 🥰
