my friend @shavonec hit me up with a really cool idea and asked if i wanted to be a part of it. it was an immediate yes because, in that moment, i realized “being outside” is, in fact, a transferable skill!!!to think all those vt house parties where i watched denim slowly tint the walls blue over the course of a semester, that hot summer walk for a well deserved slice of &pizza to wrap an early morning on u street, and those 12 block treks to kinfolk (r.i.p.) and café erzulie in 20 degree weather have been preparing me for this moment. turns out the impromptu tuesday nights at apt200 weren’t a cry for help after all, they were an unpaid internship.i’m officially at the age where i have no idea who’s throwing the parties anymore, and honestly i can’t wait for the new generation to put me on ☺️if you’re building community through nightlife, music, or culture, the club nothing community fund is for you!! go apply @community.nothing @nothing 🤍 by @laylamufasa
