30th December is a date that I will never forget as it is the anniversary of my beloved brother JAMA, it's never a great time of year for my family and me, and I thought hard about posting this post today but my brother, I know would be so proud as he was my biggest supporter in everything I choose to do!

There’s something about being in the kitchen, surrounded by good people, cooking food I love, that just makes me happy.

A few moments from such a beautiful evening cooking for Sober Supper Club London, in collaboration with Noughty.

After all these years of cooking, I still love that feeling of putting on my chef jacket, getting into the kitchen and creating. The organised chaos, the laughter, the pressure, the plating, watching everything finally come together or not lol …this really is my happy place.

Food has always been so much more than just food for me. It’s how I mediate, how I express myself and, quite simply, something I genuinely love doing.

And when the room is full of great people, good energy and everyone enjoying what you’ve created… it makes all the hard work worth it.

More nights like this please.

Another year around the sun… and what a year it’s been.

Feeling an overwhelming sense of gratitude, love, hope, and faith right now . Grateful for where I am today, and excited for everything the future holds.

Here’s to many more circles around the sun.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME ☀️
