Ciao Milano ❣️

We are very excited to present The Waiting Room, our first solo furniture presentation - a collection exploring pause, transition, and possibility. A chair with custom-engineered joints, designed as a single module that extends into a larger seating system. A lounge that shifts between a daybed and recliner through a single movement. A rug whose modular sections are fastened with leather straps and chromed hardware, referencing the tension and restraint of harness construction. Nothing fixed. Everything open to reconfiguration.

On view from today at @alcova.milano until April 26, during Milan Design Week. Please stop by and say hello!

Concept proposal for the @rimowa Madison flagship in New York.

A peek into the specialty archive room which offers a deliberate contrast to the rest of the store. Fabric-tufted walls create a warm, lounge-like environment; a quiet retreat that invites intimate engagement with the brand’s heritage.

Concept proposal for the @rimowa Madison flagship in New York.

Inside, the store is structured around a strict grid system, functioning both as an organizational framework and a unifying design motif. This grid is articulated through fixtures, shelving, and lighting, establishing a cohesive visual language that defines the space. At its core is the client care laboratory; a live, performative centerpiece that elevates routine product care into an experience. More than a service point, it becomes a stage that encourages customers to return, engaging with the brand on a deeper, ongoing level.

Facade concept for our proposal for the @rimowa Madison flagship in New York.

Inspired by the industrial character of both the brand and the city, the design features two double-height metal-clad sliding doors that open completely during store hours. When closed, the doors frame the Rimowa logo and a curated glimpse inside, ensuring the brand remains a focal point on Madison Avenue day and night.

The 700 sq ft space showcases amp’s AI-powered, wall-mounted fitness machine — and embodies the brand’s forward-thinking ethos: minimal, tech-driven, and purposefully versatile.

Designed for more than just display, the showroom adapts to a range of uses — from training sessions and product demos to a dedicated workspace for amp’s in-house team. Stainless steel built-ins act as anchor points throughout, echoing the machine itself while bringing clarity and structure to the compact footprint.

Our submission for the Small Lots, Big Impacts competition by @citylabucla

This proposal imagines a sustainable, community-focused future for Mid-City Los Angeles through a compact four-unit housing complex. Designed for first-time homeowners, it embraces infill development, shared amenities, and efficient land use to address the city’s housing shortage and wildfire recovery.

Elevated above a sunken communal garden, the three-story concrete and bronzed-glass structure rests on 14-inch columns in a 15’ x 18’ grid. Drought-tolerant landscaping and exposed aggregate concrete paths define the garden below. Two 19-foot diameter fire-resistant glass block atriums with spiral stairs and central trees bring light and air into the building.

Each 1,700 sq ft mirrored unit includes three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and open living spaces. Floor-to-ceiling low-E bronze-tinted glass doors open onto 5-foot balconies along the east and west sides. The project offers a resilient, modern alternative for urban living in Los Angeles.

Menorah assembly! The two slabs are connected by a hidden center rod, which allows for the top slab to rotate easily. Thank you to our dear friends of @smlxl.company for designing the graphics for the custom packaging of both the menorah and candle boxes.
