A lullaby of sorts! I should’ve brushed my hair! The brudi brothers rock and this sounds worse than they do! I want to get better at this! Trying to put myself out there I guess! Does anything really matter at all! by @layniemitchell

The Black Belt has officially been unlocked. 🥹This was REALLY hard and took a long time!! It’s been a milestone in my head for quite a while now, and to have it accomplished feels surreal and exciting. But the brain is a funny (and often unkind) place. Alongside the excitement and relief is a pesky sense of unworthiness. I’m doing the best I can to shake that, but it’s been an unexpected challenge. Did I actually earn it? Did I do a good enough job? Did I look like total fool compared to others? I really wasn’t expecting these questions to obscure the excitement. Squelching my own happy moments is almost too easy sometimes, and for what? Any words of wisdom on the subject would be much appreciated 🙃

But piercing through the emotional web is DEEP gratitude for the people I now get to know for a long time. We were strangers, and now we’ve done this really cool thing together !! I love you guys a whole lot!! AND COACH MATT!!! I wanted to quit 100x in the last 3 years but you didn’t let me. Thank you for sticking with me. Really glad I stumbled into your class in February of 2022. I feel eager to keep pushing and getting better. This is by no means the end of the road (and I have an ever-growing list of things that need significant improvement lol). Onward and upward!! by @layniemitchell

In celebration of my much needed return to short hair, I took pictures of myself in the sun, and reminisced on my very first haircut. I really hope that little girl would be proud of who I am. Watch all the way through for some healing melodies from baby Brynn. She messes up the lyrics in the most perfect way: “what a glorious future, I’m happy again.” Ain’t that just the way. :) by @layniemitchell

Seeing this on a giant screen at @chinesetheatres with every seat in the house filled was a dream. I love this movie so much and I feel so proud that I got to be a part of it. Every single person who touched it is magical (let’s make more movies together. PLEASE. I BEG YOU!).

I’m beaming with pride to be related to Brynn. She’s really amazing at what she does and I can’t wait to watch her life unfold. Here are some stills, BTS, and red carpet pictures from AFI Fest.

P.S. I’m talking/doing a bit in every single picture on the step and repeat. ISO posing coaches, please help !! taken in TCL Chinese Theatres by @layniemitchell
