5 years ago on August 8th 2021 I made the decision to surrender my life to Jesus. I was a broken, lost kid with a lot of pain. There have been many highs & lows since, but through it all, the Lord has stayed consistent even when I didn’t.

Now fast-forward 5 years to that exact date—I propose to the love of my life. I propose to this God-fearing woman that Lord saw fit for me. After one YouTube testimony video 4 years ago, now we are here :) 4 years of friendship. Where I have seen & learned that waiting is the refinement needed to make this last a lifetime. Thank you Lord for this long-distance God-ordained relationship. He is a father that gives good gifts & I received the very best. taken in Toronto Music Garden by @layunnn

It’s funny I used to literally make fun of my sister for praying and reading the Bible. Now fast forward, I’m doing the same. Never understood what having a relationship with God actually meant or that it was possible. Always pissed me off when my sister would say “ the lord told me this” or “ I felt the lord tell me this” because I thought it was impossible, but it’s not.

Once I felt his presence it was over for me. He healed me from my childhood trauma; molestation. He saved me from depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Taught me how to let go of all the hurt and anger. (Still healing)

Finally, in a place in my life where I know true peace and happiness. Thankful for the community I have been placed in to continue to learn and grow. by @layunnn
