If you find yourself at Ala-Archer National park … go UP the hill to the left to get to the waterfall 🙈 We hiked for HOURS through rocks. The view was absolutely stunning so we were like ok surely we’ll make it to the waterfall eventually. No, no we didn’t make it. In fact, we almost broke our ankles and got soaked from the slick rocks. Although in the moment it was frustrating, looking back we like to joke about the time we hiked up the wrong side of the mountain. We found a solo traveler along the way that guided us back down on the CORRECT path. The path .. was about 500 feet to our left the whole way up 🙈😑 oh the joy of travel!!! 💛 #travel #hiking #kyrgyzstan by @lbannonwx

Nothing can fully capture the raw adrenaline and intensity of the Great Migration.
