My Border Plants 🌳

I’ve had lots of questions on what we have planted on our back wall borders so thought I’d do a roundup!

The trees are called Elaeangus x Ebbingei (Silverberry). They are fast growing and evergreen so look good all year round. @tully_nurseries

The purple flowers are an easy to maintain alternative to lavender called Nepeta Catmint. @tully_nurseries

The low hedge border is boxwood. @jonesgardencentre

The diamond trellis is a DIY effort and we’re growing star jasmine on it. Star jasmine is a sleep, creep and leap climber meaning it’s fairly slow growing the first year, starts to be more impactful in year two and then explodes in year three so let’s hope it’s makes it past year one! 🙏🏼 @woodies_ireland @bandq_ireland

The border edging is Egyptian limestone cobbles. @naturalstoneyarddublin

My favourite transformation Tuesday yet ✨

So I can confirm diy wallpapering requires A LOT of patience but overall I thoroughly enjoyed bringing this @studiomcgee inspired look to life in our powder room. The space is completely transformed by this stunning whimsical @wmorrisandco pimpernel pattern from @wallpaperdirect , offset by the gorgeous calming @benjaminmoore 1580 Intrigue paint from @mrcbpaintsandpaper on our diy panelling, and complemented by our marble flooring and backsplash.

Have two little jobs left before I’m fully finished including adding a new light fitting which is on the way and the same architrave that’s around the door around the window box.

Hope you love it as much as I do! 🌿🤍

A slow Saturday afternoon at home 🍂🤎

Autumn has a way of making all the little corners of home feel that bit more special. The fire on, fresh flowers, soft afternoon light and nowhere in particular to be.

Save this for a little cosy autumn home inspiration 🍁

AD | Same bedroom. Completely different feeling 🤎

Proof that the right paint colours really can change EVERYTHING!

I wanted to create a bedroom that felt warm, cocooning and full of character — a calm, inviting retreat with a timeless feel.

A tonal palette of earthy neutrals was key. @farrowandball Mouse’s Back on the tongue-and-groove panelling adds richness and definition, while Shaded White across the walls, ceiling and woodwork creates a soft, cohesive backdrop.

Taking Shaded White onto the ceiling was a real game changer. In our south-facing bedroom, the natural light brings out its beautiful warmth, giving it an almost limewash-like quality and making the whole space feel more enveloping.

A huge thank you to @coveandcopaints for kindly gifting the paint and decorating supplies for this transformation 🤎

I’ll be sharing more soon about the colour choices, the thinking behind them and the invaluable advice I received from the team in-store 👩🏻‍🎨

pov: my Cotswold-inspired bedroom dreams are coming to life 🤎🍂

I just had to share this little corner of our bedroom because it’s finally starting to look how I’ve pictured it in my head for so long.

I wanted it to feel warm, collected and a little old-world — inspired by those beautiful, layered Cotswold interiors that never feel overdone.

The T&G panelling and soft, earthy paint colours completely changed the feel of the room. From there, I’ve been slowly layering in block prints, muted florals, linen, velvet, aged brass and landscape art, all grounded by the darker furniture to give it that lived-in look I love.

There are so many little details I want to share properly, so I’ll save those for another post. For now, enjoy these little moments ✨

📌 Save for your own Cotswold-inspired bedroom refresh 🤎

Save this one for your next decorating project 📌

The paint colour I’m asked about most:

Portland Stone Dark 157 in Intelligent Eggshell by @littlegreenepaintcompany sourced from @coveandcopaints

This beautifully grounding neutral paint is a muted stone / putty colour, perfect for half-height panelling and defining woodwork.

It’s one of those wonderfully nuanced shades that shifts throughout the day — reading as taupe, warm greige, light brown and even slightly green, depending on the light.

Warm, earthy and quietly sophisticated, it brings just enough depth without overpowering a space.
